Capcom has been openly hostile to mods in their games in the past year. Not sure how mod friendly this game is going to be.
Denuvo for this is just anti piracy. Really lame though since this game is CPU throttled that's extra over head it doesn't need. Game is awesome and it sucks they made this the news cycle
I was thinking about trying this but when I saw all the negative reviews and DLC for a 70USD game I passed.
My only gripe with the game is that it took me forever to figure out how to make the game look good on my screen. Optimization isn’t great right now.
Saaaame. But honestly its pc. Every computer will handle things very differently.
I got it looking good with a ryzen 9 and a rx 580, what are you rocking?

You'd think people would have learned not to pick up a pc release at launch by now. I wasnt planning to pick this one up till hell divers 2 got boring
Helldivers was boring from day 1 wym
The game is very CPU heavy and will have performance issues in towns and other places that are populated. Something about how the npcs were designed but they have stated that they were looking to fix it. On the mtx front 100% optional f.eks. the book you need to change your appearance is literally just 500 rift crystals which can be earned in a very short time, people are literally crying about nothing 😂
Seems to be "optimized" for hexacores, as a test with a 7800X3D and a 4090 showed 2 and sometimes more threads doing next to nothing, while a hexacore got evenly loaded.
And MTX have nothing to do in a singleplayergame period.
Also MTX crap stunt has been pulled by Capcom with Streetfighter as well, after the reviews were out, they added the store in.
Its not that you cant get everything ingame, but putting the store upfront is misleading, extorting money out of players that see it and think they have to buy it.
Its not making it P2W but still is a major F-Up, that shouldnt be there at all.
You pay alot of money, for a DRM'd singleplayer game that has subpar graphics, has features axed before launch, like RT reflections and Framegeneration, you get served crappy SSReflections instead and comes with heavy performance issues...
Also Capcom retroactivly changes Games to fit them to "modern audiences" and ESG crap and is openly hostile towards mods...
People are not crying over nothing They are defending they consumer's rights.
You are defending the equivalent of a grocery selling rotten food and you saying Oh, you can not buying the maggot ridden food so why are you complaining.
The negative reviews are bullahitm the microtransactions have no impact on the game.
So you see great that Capcom scam people. You are defending the equivalent of a restaurant selling rotten food and you just saying who cares Half of food is rotten you can buy no rotten food
Aside from the performance and PC problems, I was enjoying the first 20 hours of the game.
But after that, the game design itself started to fumble and quality in all aspects takes a nose-dive. The mainquest ends up being rushed and utter dogshit, where you'll scratch your head "wait... this is the last quest already?!?"
My favorite thing is all the large content creator DD2 defenders, keep saying
"Apart from the MT's the game is great"
