Yep! Have a large collection of them in many colors. Even a few small handkerchief sized ones. Tip: For a head covering, don't fold into a triangle. Instead just fold in 1 corner about a third of the way towards folding into a true triangle. Tuck the folded side under then tie on head, as if it were a true triangle. Gives much more covering to the back of the neck. (Hope I explained well enough.) Many more uses for bandanas. Light weigh stuff sacks & utensil/tool rolls. Bandage and padding material. (Under pack straps for example.) Emergency cordage - one or more and/or tear into suitable strips.
Tip: Wash new ones, several times, especially if planning to strain water, coffee, noodles, etc. Washing removes excess dye and other finishing materials applied during manufacturing. Often removes some (all) of the sizing (similar to old fashioned starch) which will make the fabric more soft & absorbent. Number of washings needed depends on original manufacturing methods and your desired degree of being "broken in".
Just 2-cents FWIW............. :-)
I'll try your head covering tip. May see it soon in a vid! Thanks for watching.

I use one bandana in the pirate triangle way but with it soaked with water to help beat the heat and stay cool tied around my head, i use another as a napkin when eating especially at fast food places when they dont give you enough napkins. Hey what can i say, i always have one in my pocket anyway, why not use it. You can never ever have too many bandanas
One can make a bandana by putting a necktie around your head or folding it in half if its too big then putting it in your head and tying it at the back. Find an old necktie with a color and pattern you like and it will look like a bandana cloth around your head if you conceal the label of the tie touching your hair inside and the bottom V part of the tie behind. It won't ruin neckties. I don't wear them its just a way of playing around with the kids like my niece if you have any to have to entertain
Awesome video! Just subbed
