    I passed. What I did was make flash cards and read the manual. The bulletin points is what you’ll down on the flash cards. It seems like a lot to remember but it really isn’t. For anyone who is going to take this test, please pay special attention to the hazardous material page because I *guarantee you* they’re going to ask a lot of questions about it on your actual test so it would be handy to memorize it. Also, remember what you have to do with railroads and what you need to inspect in and out of the bus.

    Watch this carefully and study it. I did and passed the passenger test. Thanks for making such a helpful video!

    The passenger endorsement test sometimes has more test material than this video covers (in Louisiana at least...)
    This video is just the “Passenger” section of the CDL manual but the passenger test also will ask questions from the “driving safely” section in the manual... and from what I remember a few questions about driving space and number of seconds between your bus and the vehicle in front. Study this stuff too. You’ll thank me later.

      How many questions did your passenger endorsement test have ?

    Beautiful Crown at the end! A bit ironic too because I’ve wanted one all my life and that’s why I watched the video since I was curious what you need to know to drive a bus.

      Actually this video doesn’t cover all material.. that’s why it deserves a thumbs down. The passenger endorsement test has questions from the driving safely section of the manual as well as the passenger section. This video doesn’t have anything about driving safely.

    Can you rent your own bus and take the test in that as opposed to going through a school?

    Just got my CDL class A a few weeks ago with NO restrictions. Went to get my Passenger endorsment last week. They sent my new license in the mail with the new P endorsment but NOW I also have an M restriction??? What the hell is this? I Looked it up and it says I can now only drive a class B vehicle even though I have a Class A! Can someone explain please.

    • @vanishingpoint-v1v
      @vanishingpoint-v1v 2 года назад +1

      You can still drive Class A trucks semi. M restriction means you cannot drive a Class A passenger vehicle. A class A passenger vehicle is the articulated bus. To have the M restriction lifted you must retake the test in a larger passenger bus.

      @@vanishingpoint-v1v Thanks for the reply... Man I wrote that a long time ago, almost 2 years. I called my instructor right after this and he said exactly what you just said. He said the only place in the country that even has an articulated passenger bus that large is Disney world. The city transit near me used to have articulated buses years ago but I think they were smaller and maybe you didn't need an endorsement for that... Don't know. Is the size of the articulated vehicle factored in too or just the fact that it's an articulated passenger vehicle? Thanks if you know...

      @@christophermoody6840 size doesn't matter as long as there is a rear section meant for passengers.
