Slower, but better in cam belts. Yes, women love this feature, when it came out in 2000, it was one of the earliest cars to have it. I’ve got a tale to relate as to why even big tough guys should enable this feature, or manually lock their vehicles on entering…so I wait outside the hospital where our eldest works, near this shop. I sit quietly, sometimes she’s late, patients don’t always stay ill to order (!). I see this guy, I happen to notice him, he walks to the shop, walks back to where he lives nearby i assume. I then notice him again, in my mirror, as he reappears out of the side road from where i am parked. You know that thing, where you ‘expect a certain trajectory’ of something that passes through your mirror’s blind spot? Well, I’, waiting for him to ‘reappear’ after he’s walked along the pavement where I am parked, enters my blind spot… …then he does not reappear at the expected second, so i begin to turn to look around, at which point he’s ragging on the door handle. Buy a girl a drink first. I look at him steadfastly. He keeps yanking on the handle, and nods down to it. I look back and just say ‘what do you want?’ He keeps trying the handle. After a few seconds of this, the large volvo in front, barks his horn repeatedly. I look over there, and then suddenly the guy lets go of the handle, and after a second, heads for the volvo and nods an apology to me. I don;t know what kind of a meeting is arranged, where somebody does not tell you what car they will be in. It’s the first thing you settle. Daughter and i decided, drug courier is what this man was. So, take a moment, and imagine if I had left the car unlocked, embarrassed at being ‘girly’ and having it locked all the time? That guy, would’ve been sat next to me, within seconds of ragging on the handle. Then what? What kinda convo we gonna have? I dunno, but i don;t want it. Take care all. PS sunroofs always leak, get a good day and remove, and re-seal with black silicone sealant, and it’s good…fills the passenger side with water in my case…if cannot do it right away, buy black duck tape, the good proper ‘Duck’ brand. You want to put one narrow layer of tape on, this is the waterproofing layer, then another broader layer over the top, this is the weather proofing ie absorbs all the UV etc, the drying-out of the sun on the adhesive, etc. Ours is still dry after ten years.
Nice one dude.. Just bought mk2 1.5dci..boss little runner but few things to do on it, couple electrical gremlins etc.. I'm compiling a play list on here for all blogs that offer help and tricks etc.. Yours will be Assimilated into the collective😉👍🏻
The 1.5dci is my favourite engine cheap tax and they go well. I had the 80bhp model and it was nippy around the country lanes it was a blast. I now have a 1.4 semi auto clio 2005 that I picked up cheap the other week good knows what I'll do with it yet, I might insure it and use it as a run about lol
@@TomSimonss Yes mate just unclip it then keep tilting it up until the front clips just slip out. I'm sure you'll find a demonstration on here somewhere.
Had same problem,had to calm down and try passenger side with key less than quarter turn will unlock it and the other direction will lock it again .get a cheap new battery from europarts(£38) and some jump leads .they wear out quick if you do mainly short trips cos they don't get charged properly of the fan belt/engine,or you can sit a few minutes with engine running before cutting engine and it will recharge if your battery is getting old.
The only thing id like you to improve are the camera angles, it would look waaay more proffesional and would help with explaining (maybe a gopro on your head or something homemade)

Yeah I've got 05 clio mk 2 I've took the sunroof off and it fits back in perfectly fine no leaks, mint with the glass out

Quick question bro did you change your gear stick knob and if so how does it come of 😎
I only changed the insert, comes out with a trim tool. To change the actual knob you need to cut it off
I bought a custom gear stick and I’m not able to change it could you explain how I could put it on? It’s jus some aluminium knob

The mk3 came out in 06, so most 06 mk2’s are a 05 car registered in 06

Had same problem,had to calm down and try passenger side with key less than quarter turn will unlock it and the other direction will lock it again .get a cheap new battery from europarts(£38) and some jump leads .they wear out quick if you do mainly short trips cos they don't get charged properly of the fan belt/engine,or you can sit a few minutes with engine running before cutting engine and it will recharge if your battery is getting old.
