I'm pausing to say I'm thoroughly impressed with Nayvie's level of concepts of print. She's holding the book right side up, moving her eyes from left to right, turning pages left to right, etc. I teach 1st grade, and at least 2 or 3 students each year haven't mastered concepts of print in August when school starts. I can tell you read to her and she sees you read. She's picking up excellent reading behaviors. You're setting her up for academic success. ❤
