Excellent explanation. It is exactly true. I used to shift my body to the opposite side of the half pass some years ago. Then I heard the same advice you are giving here and it got SO much easier. I remember that when I decided to shift my body in the direction of the half pass I would tell myself “it’s as if I were falling a little to the right and the way not to fall was holding on with my left leg. That also put pressure on the calf from which I wanted to push. The piggy ride example is great! Thank you.
