It almost certainly doesn’t matter to Americans at least. It’s big for the middle-east and somewhat impactful for Europe, North Africa and Central Asia.
Your in the ☁️, Merry Christmas 🎄
Thanks Peter
Hi Peter, Alawites in Syria are less than 10%, Sunis are the majority especially in all the cities including the coast, whoever rules Damascus rules the bulk of Syria. Keep a close eye, you'll be surprised. Taliban controlled a much more complicated Afghanistan.
High Peter, is your posting date of 8 hrs start from today or 6 days ago.
YOU'RE SO FAR BEHIND!!!
You know there's a delay on the posts now
Peter, how do you keep your shades so clean?
I’m beginning to think Israel’s greatest fear is peace not war.
Amazing view
My man said "if Turkey involves in..." Dude, Turkey probably -actually, must literally - has 5 years of cooking recipe about Syria for a long time.
You're overemphasizing the divides stemming from the diversity of the rebels and minorities in Syria. At large, HTS united most of Syria st this point; southern rebels, the druze and american backed Al-Tanf rebels are all in close cooperation. Alewites in Taurtus and Latakia also yielded to the Damascus government and for all its worth the Jolani/Al Sharaa has been pushing all the true moderation nodes. Turkish Backed SNA are also in close cooperation and there is so far non-agression with SDF. The only conflict is between SNA and SDF due to the unease in Arab majority governorates and the PKK element. It stands that if HTS can garner international support, dont turn against the diversity and USA under Trump lets go of YPG, at least in rural Deir Ez Zor, Raqqa and Hasakkah, there is nothing standing against a peaceful prosperous Syria past Israel's insecure invasion of Quneitra
Cope
the pipe is coming from arab peninsula to turkey & EU so it`s pretty much game over for rusian gas exports might as well declare gazprom preemptive bankruptcy we calculated the costs at 20 billion $ and about 2.5 years to finalize it 3 pipes not just 1
Russia's major export was in Europe to Germany and other European countries not the Middle East. Russia should have built more oil and natural gas pipeline into China and India.

@Peter Pat Ryder from the Pentagon stated there are 2k US troops in Syria. As far as Turkey, I watched a speech by Ergodan in Turkey with English sub titles . He stated that "Turkey should not and will not be confined to just Turkey's boarders." "Turkey will expand" meaning north Syria will be taken by Turkey
As a Turk, although I don't agree with Erdogan's aggressive external politics; here "Turkey should not and will not be confined to just Turkey's boarders." does not mean Turkey seeks to increase its land size. He says Turkey should be politically more active outside the country. And besides all the "conquest propaganda" geared towards nationalists in Turkey, I am confident in the government (a rare occasion) that they are sincere about protecting Syria's unity and integrity.
Erdogan most of the time uses foreign politics to leverage internal politics. You should rather listen official Foreign Ministry statements or FM Hakan Fidan's speech. On contrary to Erdogan, his statements reflect state policies. Erdogan is like Trump wanting Canada to be the 51st state of USA. No way both of those will happen.
@@berkaysimsek206he says what he says. Like Trump with Panama Canal and like putin with Ukraine. When they speak we should better believe them.
Dude, that sentence is one of his oldies. It means, if we as Turks try the isolation route as Turkiye once did unsuccessfully prior to NATO membership, Turkiye will be beleaguered by all sides. This is why you can't have Atatürk's "Peace at home, peace in the world" in a desolate environment such as the Middle East. It's like America's Monroe Doctrine. Doesn't mean expansion of land. Does mean expansion of political and military influence.
@@berkaysimsek206The question is does Jolani ( the supposed, self appointed leader of "New Syria ") seek/ want Turkey's assistance? One of reasons Turkey will never be a part of the EU is because of Turkey's illegal occupation of Cyprus and (per EU leaders statements) and Turkey's lack of "free and fair elections " Also per EU and NATO statements "Turkey/ Ergodan playing both sides of the fence with EU/NATO and ruSSia/ putin . Those are EU statements, not mine and not my opinions.
I have been up that mountain in winter its a good slide down
The Naki! Enjoy your stay!
I believe they will eventually have all of Syria and eventually large parts of Iraq.
Thank you
How does this situation compare to Libya?
Turkiye is winning both in Libya and Syria. Similar situation :)
They have a very nice Christmas market in Damascus. I saw a video about it.
Americans are underestimating Turkey.
No we're not. Turkey is not a problem.
@@darelvanderhoof6176i don’t think you understand how powerful Turkiye is….
@@baklava6138I don’t think it’s for this generation of Americans to appreciate it. Usually Americans understand something at the end of history, they’re usually late to things regarding rising powers. This is one of the reasons Vladimir Putin has been able to go this far. And why Iran is only a few months away from producing weapons grade plutonium. Americans are usually terrible at predicting the future of a country that will be powerful against it, which is why they have trouble dealing with China.

Hello, here's a comment. I'll like the vid in a week :P
2000 Americans Peter... Not less than1000...
20 years from now there will be no Israel and Syria will be standing. I will leave my comment for people in the year 2045 to decide if I were correct.
So basically, Syria as one country is done!
That’s New Plymouth behind you.
Plymouth is in England.
Why are the Americans in Syria at all ? What else than creating mayhem in supporting the Kurds ? Do not tell me that Americans care a damn about the Kurds. But chaos by supporting one faction would be "as usual".
Hit 200k today. I'm really grateful for all the knowledge and nuggets you had thrown my way over the last months. Started with 14k in June 2024
You're correct!! I make a lot of money without relying on the government. Investing in stocks, BTC, and XRP and digital currencies is beneficial at this moment.
Hello, how did you achieve such biweekly returns? I'm a newbie and I've lost a lot of money investing on my own. Please how do I go about it, the year is almost coming to an end, how can I make profit?
As a beginner, it is essential that you have a mentor to help you stay accountable. In my case, Elizabeth Marie Hawley has guided me for months and I highly recommend her. I focus on her. To be honest, I'm almost hesitant to let someone take charge of growing my finances, but I'm so glad I did.
Wow I'm shocked you mentioned expert Mrs Elizabeth Marie Hawley, when someone is straight forward and good at what she does best.
People will always speak for them.
The very first time we tried, we invested $2000 and after some weeks, we received $8500. That really helped us a lot to pay up our bills.

Turkey is not helping with any logistics in Syria for the USA. What are you even talking about? This is uneducated take.
Merry Christmas blabla guy!😂
Good analysis as usual. Syria will be a shit show for the foreseeable future.
The Arab Gulf countries should provide investments to rebuild infrastructure in Syria and the West should lift the sanctions. Turkey should be let manage the Syrian nation building process to avoid the collapse as the risk of a renewed conflict is quite high among the various Syrian groups.
The Gulf countries are NOT interested in Democracy they will try to destroy Democracy
Wherever the Turks went there is a mess. They need to let the Arabs handle their own affairs. Arabs were under Turkish occupation for long time and not about to go through that again

What a baller.
How does the Israeli feel about the kurds?
A convenient tool?
Not turkey, but Türkiye! Stop being disrespectful!
Turkey might be a threat to Israel, they want an Ottoman Empire again, like you said it's a dynamic environment.
Turkey has no intention to be hostile with Israel whereas Israel investing more than 30 years for kurdish state to tool kurds as cheap legions to destroy integrity of Turkey. Turkey gave refuge to the exiled jews in 1492 from Spain and Portugal. But the jews dont show respect to turks as they did to persians because of Cyrus the Great. Well, we dont care much but just to say.

I don't get it why intentionally, subliminally or out of pure ignorance the PKK is being portrayed as representing the Kurds? If you ignore this fact from the beginning there's no reason for me watching the rest of this post because it's going to be misleading.

Light weight research providing light weight commentary. Peter's 15 minutes of fame is about to time out.
As a native Italian that hails from the former Republic of Venice, I will never trust the neo-Ottoman government of Turkiye led by that aspiring sultan, Erdogan.
There's 2000 or more US troops in Syria.
can US destroy Daesh in less than a month even with help from Israeli intelligence?
yes absolutely yes but the US dont want to eradicate ISIS. It is their ticket to exist in Syria.
Alright.
P another correction is that you refer to the Arabs add Christians and druze and alawites information all of them are Arabs are the turkmens and the Kurds who constitute less than 10% of the nation

What if the turks arm there proxies? to make sure there guys come on top will that bring Turkey and Israelis into conflict
Dont get feed by main stream media. Both Erdogan and Netanyahu is boosting their votes by talking like that, neither country would like to do anything to each other. Its not Gaza or Lebonan, a conflict with these 2 countries would be even worse than any war in last 30-40 years plus they are economically connected. Nobody really wants to fight they just want to re-elected again. you will see in 5 years both countries will have their trade numbers go up, It was always like this always be like this.
