Can you see in a greater distance when looking at the edge of your screen? It's the box effect.
Idea: when a cheater is out of his base - redesign and redecorate the inside of his base for him - doors that lead to nowhere - maybe a bear trap or two - new entrances - maybe a perpetual farm sprinkler - keep the base the same but add some camomo confusion - extreme makeover: rust edition
I'd say as an idea, just remove the doors entirely and replace them with stone walls. Works as well when the cheater is home too!

Cheaters are sad and pathetic because they don't have the self confidence or discipline to practice. They want the easy way out of feeling good about themselves. This is why I think humiliation is the best tool for teaching them a lesson.
My favorite Camomo moments are when random nakeds are around when you catch a cheater and they laugh relentlessly at them. In the same way a jay-walking camera adds some public shaming to prevent minor crimes; I think you should teleport cheaters to populated areas more often so they can be mocked and ridiculed publicly.
Maybe every time you find a cheater, teleport them to Outpost and announce to everyone there that they're a sad cheater and let everyone point and laugh at them for a bit. It would also do some good will for the server because it shows active admins who care and show anyone thinking about cheating that they won't get away with it. Much love Camomo.

Got an idea camomo get a command to make the cheater hostile in save zone and sit them down in outpost and see how long they stay just insta dying to outpost turrets! Keep up the good work!

Brand new to the channel. Are you an official game-admin or just a community member with an admin seat on multiple servers? I can see you're well renowned. I've never played rust but this content makes me kinda want to just to happen upon this sort of justice as a firsthand witness. Keep it up!
The servers are community owned, but as to how he is in the position he is now, I dont know. I imagine hes proved himself, and other server owners reach out for assistance. Regardless, our Aussie mate is damn good at what he does.

The only people who admin on official facepunch servers are facepunch staff themselves. All other servers are community ram, and he’s admin on quite a few popular servers. Plus, he does what he does perfectly

Most cheaters are bots or farming players on burner accounts to farm for items and to trade items between hundreds of other burner accounts before being killed by the player who paid for the bot/farmer. But some modders are just oblivious to what their doing.

We need an horse plug in, where if the cheater gets on it. A start down counts and when it reaches 0 the Cheater explodes and his gear would go everywhere. Or it pulls a role swap and the cheater becoming the horse and the horse rides him , instead. Then blows up!

haven't played rust in over 5 years, love your approach to anti cheat, your comment about being a fly on the wall sparked something, as rust has access to people microphones can you access it by forcing them to turn on there mic to at least hear there reactions? I'm sure it'll be illegal to some extent but for the purpose of evidence gathering and the fact that they've already agreed to Rust ToS which more than likely says rust will have access to your mic it's probably a grey area.

What percentage of players would you guess are cheating based on your experience?
This is my question as well. Considering the consistency of the uploads, and the amount of cheaters per video... It seems pretty high.
@@Ecn42 altho these are servers with multiple hundreds or even a thousand players a piece, and he tends to jump around on different servers
And seeing as how you can buy an account with little to no time played and pick back up where you left off in a way, probably a lot more than you think
@@cypress8638 unfortunately so, on console at least 50%+ are using zen that I've come across, not many have been blatant cheaters that shoot you through walls, but I've seen a couple of those
I swear your series really make me unable to play. Even on modded community moderated server, I encounter a cheater (or at least one that give me a ban confirmation) every single wipe.

Not really. Maybe some of them needs attention from camomo, yes. But mostly they're just bunch of unskilled players that want to ruin the game for their excitement
- For the next plug in trick. Make specific resources invisible. You might even tie it to the tool they have equipped so any time they pull out a jackhammer, all the sulfur nodes vanish. Barrels, loot crates, etc. Choose something for their tech level. Make them prim locked.
- Try making other players invisible to them or something. Mess with their perception so they think other people are cheating against them.
- spawn a random hostile animal in their path every couple minutes. Have the plugin trigger it far enough away to be not obvious and detect the general direction so it's not exactly right in front. Give it IFF aggro so it's only hostile to the cheater.
More subtle stuff to drag out the suffering and confuse them, rather than giving away the ploy sooner.

I was console (psn) BF1 admin for a month. The 'powers that be' doesn't care if everyone cheats. Talked to a few ppl who did the same as I did, for a month, cause WE were/are useless & THEY don't give a chit!

I feel like looking at the floor is pretty normal. Even i do it when I run around just because with high FOV, when you look down and put your targets at the top of your screen you can see better
I keep my cross hair at about shoulder height. Like keeping the horizon in the middle of my screen.

You should do more than just Ban these cheaters, more than just muck around with them. I personally feel DOXING would do justice. Interrogate, scare, give them a taste of what the internet really has to offer.
MrGibbyGibson floated the idea a few weeks ago of ambushing cheaters irl with a net launcher and a massive plank of wood
1. Doxxing is illegal.
2. Even if cheaters might be stupid, childish little rats they don't deserve to have their personal information all over the internet for cheating in a video game.
