Yes totally agreed. Yoona, Sooyoung and Seohyeon improved a lot. But Jessica's voice still good, but she lost the charm and attraction when she was in snsd.

About voice color, it really depends on your own opinion. I myself really like Hyoyeon color. About technique, Actually it is not easy to rank one by one, but we can devide them into 4 teams: Taeyeon is far better than other. Then Seohyun, Jessica. Then Tiffany, sunny and sooyoung. Last team with less support in voice (i dont mean they are bad) consist of Hyoyeon, Yuri ans Yoona.

I agree with your ranking, just not for 2017 haha Because I took into consideration what each of them showcased this year as well, and since Yuri didn't sing at all aside from SNSD promotions (and in them she didn't sing a lot too) I put her in the last place. In different years, the ranking would definitely be different :)

I think your list is accurate enough that I can go with all your picks. I believe that even though Yoona has a week voice it is still pleasant to listen to. And Seohyun for number two only because Taeyeon has the more powerful voice. Sunny has always been my favorite. But I’m fine with number four for her. Because as good as she is, I know the other three are better than her. Number one Taeyeon. Cute and great voice, what a combination.

Seohyun improved quite a lot in her breathing, head voice and the support in her upper mix. Sunny hasn't change a bit. Great head voice, ok mix, terrible chest voice. Tiffany improved a lot, in their early years she was very breathy (her classic "husky" sound) now her aproach is more supported and relaxed. she still pushes and yells in her upper mix tho. Yuri regresed considerably. Out of the sub vocalists she was the only one with some sense of weak support in the chest and mixed voice. Now she whispers every sound that comes out of her mouth. It was based on what they showcased in singing in that year (2017), not in their whole career :) Jess sang completely live only a few times in 2017 and her voice was often unstable, so that's why she's a bit lower than usual on the ranking
This ranking is biased. Jessica will always be 2nd to Taeyeon. Their singing skills are still the same. Just because Jessica is not in the group anymore? Does it mean seohyun, tiffany and sunny are better than her? Jessica will always be a main vocalist along with taeyeon. Her techniques are still amazing!! 👏
It's not. It's only based on the year of 2017. I love Jessica's voice, but her technique wasn't good this year and she didn't sing much live either. For these and other reasons her and Yuri are lower than they'd normally be

In my opinion, it means that they were better in 2017. Not only because of the frequency, but due to the vocal consistency of the performances in the year. Year rankings are made to show improvement and retrocess, and that's why it varies from year to year.

It was based on what they showcased in singing in that year (2017), not in their whole career :) Jess sang completely live only a few times in 2017 and her voice was often unstable, so that's why she's a bit lower than usual on the ranking
This ranking is biased. Jessica will always be 2nd to Taeyeon. Their singing skills are still the same. Just because Jessica is not in the group anymore? Does it mean seohyun, tiffany and sunny are better than her? Jessica will always be a main vocalist along with taeyeon. Her techniques are still amazing!! 👏
It's not. It's only based on the year of 2017. I love Jessica's voice, but her technique wasn't good this year and she didn't sing much live either. For these and other reasons her and Yuri are lower than they'd normally be

In my opinion, it means that they were better in 2017. Not only because of the frequency, but due to the vocal consistency of the performances in the year. Year rankings are made to show improvement and retrocess, and that's why it varies from year to year.

It's like a band in a cafe because that event is just for a countdown? When you chose Concert and best performance of other snsd members and you dare to compare? That was one of her best vocal performances last year… where there wasn't a loud bgm and we could clearly hear her voice, which is why I chose it.
