Don't overthink it. It was a way to explain the actor going through puberty so they had to acknowledge it and wrote it into the show with things changing.
you dont understand,m it's a progession: boy in white, angst teen in grey, angry man in yellow, grumpy geezerr in red stripped cape... he's evolving like a pokemon
Such a fascinating place Fromville is. It is completely like a dream with all those weird things going on. Just like dreams don't have any explanation, this show won't give any explanation too.
Are all of you people just like parrot bots following a script? These comments are so warped, it's either bots or lonely people trying to fit in....neither of which actually watched or paid attention to the show. The show has given us tons of explanations and clues and facts. The bots and whiners ignore those and push fan fic and then get on the drama queen bandwagon it makes no sense and they're all mad. It makes sense if you use what the show gives you and not what randos on reddit and youtube give you which is their opinions....not the show's.
It seems the writers are improvising instead of having a clear plan. The Boy in White, a spirit who shouldn’t age, is visibly growing, and they’re trying to explain it by hinting at changes in the character. It feels like a quick fix, suggesting the series wasn’t fully planned and they’re now making adjustments to keep viewers engaged.
Ever since I learned they never planned for the snow and they just rolled with it when it snowed on set due to time constraints, I now wonder if this is another thing like that. The kid grew up quiet a bit and instead of trying to fix it they just rolled with it. I feel like that happened alot in this show and you can tell.
Why doesn't the BinW ever change his clothes? Even in the 40's, 50's, 60's this would've been an awkward & uncomfortable attire decision for a little boy. He must be feeling self conscious about it by now.
Because he is not real. I do wonder though if back in the 70s after the massacre, the boy in white was still a human left behind and became Victor's friend, and helped take care of him. Victor does say he'd not seen the boy in decades. Maybe it's because the human boy died at some point, and went away...and then returns as the specter vision representing hope. Or he was always the beacon of hope and went away because Victor lost his hope and blocked any ideas of trying to leave...which is the way of all the colony house residents. The ones trying to figure it out, who still have hope, all chose to live in the town.
Fromville is a enchanted place, when Jim and Jaden...started sending radio signals, they destabilized the place, thus the enchantation is evaporating. Soon this place will cease to exist
Yeah. And they felt the wrong feeling of needing to explain that and put some lines so people will be creating tons of theories about something that is actually nothing 😂
boy in white aging means the writers had no complete plot for the whole series. If they would, they would have recorded all biw scenes when the actor was still same age and just postedit/compose with the later seasons
We could take the boy in the white ageing as the next stage in this cycle and maybe at some point in the future the boy in whites a older man or some crap, cuz he stayed the same way for 40+ years until this cycl recent progression started I dunno just brain storming haha
What if there is a connection with the Boy in White and Ethan? Didn't Ethan play with figures and talk about an imaginary place and his sister told him that his "figures" died, while they were driving in the camper? It also seems like Ethan is not afraid to venture forward. Just my thoughts.
Why do people just assume the BIW shouldn't age? The place follows the sun's journey, from the summer solstice to the winter solstice and back again. That's why the place is changing. The BIW represents the self, one of four major Jungian archetypes of the psyche. So, he ages as you do. He is also getting older as the archetypes of the subconsciousness are waking up and getting closer to the cycle's end.
No. We need to know who or what the Boy in White is. Abstract ideas are lazy. I want clear, concise answers to the mysteries or don’t make things mysterious at all.
I mean it was signs that things were changing .. Victor said the trees were moving , it NEVER snows , and one more thing I can’t remember off the top of my head … plus it’s too explain his real life aging 🤷🏾♂️ that’s just my opinion
Theres only 2 more season in the show, i think they boy in white will be fine . His changes have already been addressed and doesn't need to be addressed again. I disagree with you, I think he is very helpful. He pushed Tabitha out the tower which has helped her and the town. He told Victor to not cut the tree , if he had cut it then there would be 0 chance of them going back home He said , you guys need to figure it out on your own. He knows things we don't know , we have to trust him. He's good , that's why he's in white.
I don't know what show these people have been watching they ran off the rails with this "he's pure evil" nonsense. He is literally the beacon of hope manifested as what the beacon of hope would look like for people to see him... The white color symbolizes purity. The boy, a child, symbolizes innocence. The boy in white being the beacon of hope is symbolized (in real life, all these people had to do was go look it up) by the light house. If they also rewatched the show or just checked From Wiki for the Boy's appearances and read or watched the events and context which he appeared they'd see crystal clear that he is guiding them to safety in every instance...and he only appeared to those who, in a nutshell, still had hope or were pure and innocent, or were genuinely acting in service of others, to help them, pure intentions. Those people were Christopher, Victor, Ethan, Tabitha and Sara so far. Christopher wanted to help save the children and the boy in white appears and guides him but Christopher allowed his doubts and fear take hold of him. Victor in the early days was innocent and hopeful, but also collected the belongings of the dead to remember them and honor them, and the boy appears and looks after him. (Or, he was still human and left behind but died sometime later. Victor did say he'd not seen him in decades so maybe it's because he died since the massacre and transformed into the beacon of hope figure?) Victor only sees him again after he helps Julie escape the ch massacre. The boy appears and guides them to the tree to safety. The boy also guides Victor to save Tabitha. Ethan is a pure innocent. The boy is appearing to him to guide him the way he did Victor. Tabitha sees him after she goes all in on saving the children for its own sake, being the mother...she made it through the tree to the light house and sees him there and all that happens. Nothing about him is evil. These people making up their own show apparently, with all this time travel reincarnation, evil stuff. 🤣
I think, Boy in white is Victor - light, good part of Victor, original spirit of Victor. And i think, Victor has dark side too - perhaps, he can turn into monster - under certain conditions
Don't overthink it. It was a way to explain the actor going through puberty so they had to acknowledge it and wrote it into the show with things changing.
Then what about the BIW in first or 2nd episode of S3?
you dont understand,m it's a progession: boy in white, angst teen in grey, angry man in yellow, grumpy geezerr in red stripped cape... he's evolving like a pokemon
Not a bad take
He probably just aging cuz theyre taking too long to get to the point of the show 😭
Yep 😆
Eventually he’ll be the man in white 😂😂😂
Such a fascinating place Fromville is. It is completely like a dream with all those weird things going on. Just like dreams don't have any explanation, this show won't give any explanation too.
Might be a dream for real tho

@@delanamckayu mad bro? 😂 "tons of answers" is a little exaggeration, don't you think?
@@delanamckayThe show hasn’t given us many answers if anything they create more questions without answering the old ones
I kinda enjoy the many unanswered questions and mysteries. Gives me something to think about at work when I'm bored 😂

Victor was measuring the trees because he was the first person to notice that things were changing
its been a boy for 40 years; can also disappear, ofc its not a boy. He also seems like he was nervous in this episode or angst
I thought he was very cold and couldn’t mask it on his face lol
Why does The Boy In White sound like Batman now?
The boy in white is Martin from the dungeons
Oue that’s a good one
Explain, I’m listening.
Someone captured the boy. Martin is also a creature.
Why doesn't the BinW ever change his clothes? Even in the 40's, 50's, 60's this would've been an awkward & uncomfortable attire decision for a little boy. He must be feeling self conscious about it by now.
no, only your insecurities are deceiving you, projecting how you personal feel about his cloths as if he feels this
he is also body positive

Boy in white hit puberty lol
Hmm maybe they can just straight up leave now. When the last time they got in a car and tried to leave?

By the time they are done with the reveal. The boy in white will age to Gandalf the white.

@AmyOoooh the one from the pictures Victor drew, that we hear about throughout 1-3 season
Boy in white was born there just like Fatima's baby.

Not that interesting.
He's aging because he was 11 years old and now he's 14, Duh!

Because he's an American....🤷♂️
i guess entities’ looks and speech adapt to whoever sees them
i doubt it would work if they spoke Algonquin
Because as an adult he will become David Mitchell...
I think he is vicktor imaginary friend I think everything is base around vicktor!! And what about that dog that keeps popin up
he will transition into a girl
Prefers the term "It" damn it! Get your pronouns right you trumpet! Jk lol
