I met Christopher a couple of times at Nationals when I was a volunteer. VERY friendly and courteous. TOO SAD that drugs took over his life. At least, we have films to remind us of his talent & appeal.
I can't think of any skater who was ever more talented or charismatic than Christopher Bowman. He could do anything he wanted to do..... I remember Kurt Browning saying the first time he ever saw Bowman at a competition that he(Browning) wondered" how he could ever beat this guy". Too bad he is gone. He was phenomenal!
He was adorable, gifted, unique ,expressive and lots of fun. I loved his skating throughout the years. He did a lot of living in his short -time here and seemed to make every moment matter. RIP bowman the showman 💔💖💗💗💙💙💞💟💚💙💛💜💞💟❤💖💗💙💚💜
my son is a skater he admires the late Mr.Bowman so very much. He has a laminated sports card of Mr.Bowman and keeps it in his pocket at competitions or if he is working on new jumps. The younger generation is still inspired by this amazing person.
I admire him so very much. Wasn't he amazing? I listen to his interviews and get it. I share many of the same thoughts and feelings and I am listening to the things he said he wished he did differently and taking that advice. You might be gone Mr.Bowman but you are still here in some of us learning from what you shared openly from your heart. Thank you.
@@JakeDeWolfejumps - He was my skating idol also! When I got to skate with him and Dorothy Hamill in a show it was like a dream come true. Not only was he the most naturally talented male skater I had ever seen, he was such a nice guy, so generous, so funny and completely charming. More natural ability than I have ever seen in a skater before or since - every movement he made was art on ice, his style was so classic and elegant without ever being false or old fashioned - he was unique. Best to you and your skating!!
Immensely, insanely and naturally talented! No male skater has ever had it ALL like Christopher had on the ice ... elegant, stylistic, athletic and artistic - Charismatic and charming beyond belief ... and he was a very nice guy! He was my skating idol and I remain grateful that I've shared the ice with him and a laugh or two - R.I.P. Christopher
What an apropos song to use for featuring Chris's lovely skating! He is still fondly remembered for his outstanding personality and rare skating talent. RIP Christopher Bowman.
When he was on...I'm hard pressed to find anyone who could land jumps so beautifully. In his best performances, the back leg stretch, the clean landings are just gorgeous.
