    Elec levels are legit and the soldering tool seems handy, most of the rest seems "DIY" donkey stuff. Kreg is GREAT stuff, but the original is fine without the "idiot proof" stuff.

    the vice/jack is the best think on this in my opinion but its also an old tool and used more and more for deck projects.

      Seems to me it would have been faster just to measure the outside and subtract the thickness of the sides of the cabinet.

  • @Bremend
    @Bremend 2 года назад +5

    Ok, why wouldn't you use a reciprocating saw instead of 6?

  • @patrickperry6945
    @patrickperry6945 2 года назад +2

    Some of these tools are just reinventing the wheel. The folding rule already has an inside dimension function. Bubble level will last forever if you take care of it and it doesn’t need an outlet.

      The thing about the digital one that peaked (piqued? Never wrote that before I don’t think) my interest was being able to “save” the angle and be able to copy it.
      It’s also more precise but that’s hoping the accuracy is tuned… and knowing Milwaukee; if it’s not then you can just get it replaced…

      Plastic gadget to make up for the cheap manufacturers removing the brass extension on the old folding rules. Rules have gone from valued tools to promotional throwaway items.

    If you need to hold wires in that Matco thing you are not soldering it correctly and probably should be using a butt crimp connector.

    I'm sorry but that Matco Soldering tool is junk...that is not how you apply properly and that twisting the wires before soldering would suffice just fine...and in tight spaces in an engine bay that tool would go out the door...not usable AT ALL
