I teach voice and I just had my first virtual student from outside of my state. I’ve started working with people who want to sing southern Gospel music and I told this guy, the perfect example, of an absolutely flawless singer in gospel music who does everything technically correct, is Gerald Wolfe! Everything about this is flawless.
this song means so much to me because it reminds me that every time im down r having a hard time there is always a river that i can come to i love the lord with all my heart and soul thank you for posting
Love this song, thank you Jesus for the water, for life, you took my deppression, took my addiction, filled me with the living water, your Spirit, your love, washed me clean and gave me direction. Thank you, thank you Jesus!
One of my favorite stories in the bible. Jesus went out of his way for the Samaritan women so she could be saved. Jesus will go out of his way for you.
Isaiah 41:18“I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water. John:4,13-14 Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
This song makeS me thank of my best friend . That dead on march 15 of this year . I miss her like crazy her was like A BIG SISTER to me and. her sons are like big brothers to me . I dedicate this song to connie miller .
GW hasn't aged a bit😁‼️ Chris & Mark🤷🏻♀️🤣y'all LOOK like you played hookey from school to go sing‼️In all fun, love, respect, and kindness I will listen to y'all sing the old and the new, AND BRING DOWN THE GLORY OF HEAVEN 💯🙌
Gerald wolfe is truly a man of many talents. He can sing all 4 parts and play the piano. He is one of my favorite singers. I do have to say mark trammell is a great baritone, but Rodney Griffin is my favorite when it comes to singing with greater vision. He has written some of southern gospels best songs. It's also nice to see chris allman back with greater vision since being part of the original group.
I have a couple more to post from that video: Heirloom - Send Down Your Glory; Barbara Fairchild - Highest Hosanna; Gold City - T'is So Sweet (accapella) and I will post Michael English's version of 'I Bowed On My Knees".I think it's one of my favorite performances of his of that song.
May I add another request from that video? The title song, "We've Come to Worship" is sung by the entire lineup at the very beginning of the video. It is such a beautiful song--could you please post it as well?
where gerald gets his powerful voice from still amazes me! he is a unique talent, no doubt. and does a pretty good peg mckamey/jerry goff imitation. good to see a great guy do good.
Gerald Wolfe is one of the nicest men you will ever meet. I was at N Quartet convention. a few yrs ago. He acted like he knew me forever such a nice man.
I'm not a fan of the contemporary type singing but I ran across Gerald Wolfe @ Quartet Convention you will never meet a nicer or more down to earth person than him,This comes from a hillbilly😇.

*One of the greatest voices EVER in southern Gospel.*
Len Hummel not just gospel all music
His facial expressions remind me of Jake Hess. That's a compliment. Wonderful job on the song.
Absolutely Beautiful. please say a prayer for me. God knows the need. thank you
One of my favorite stories in the bible. Jesus went out of his way for the Samaritan women so she could be saved. Jesus will go out of his way for you.

My sweetheart's name is Gerald...that's a blessed name (He can sing, too)...Thank you, Greater Vision, for your beautiful songs.
My little 6 year-old brother, born over 70 years ago, was also named Gerald. He has been waiting for me in heaven these past 70 years already.
I think I've posted this before, but ... this is easily the best, most powerful version of this song I've ever heard. Fabulous.

Gerald Wolfe, really "the little giant".... Greater Vision, my favorite men trio..
Concert was about '93 Some good memories.
Stan Whitmire was at the event with the Nelons, so Gerald asked him to play instead of having to use a track.

Oh, I love that medley he does that starts with "I'm Winging My Way Back Home". Don't remember what else he put in that medley, though.
@thekidsmommy1 Yes, Mark Trammel left and Rodney Griffin joined.
awesome
I don’t want to take anything away from this song but I can’t quit laughing at the lady’s eyes at 3:30
where gerald gets his powerful voice from still amazes me! he is a unique talent, no doubt. and does a pretty good peg mckamey/jerry goff imitation. good to see a great guy do good.
Not sure who these people are, but thank you for posting, this was good.
Gerald Wolfe one of the very best ever.
Amazing beautiful song by a very amazing voice
Gerald Wolfe is one of the nicest men you will ever meet. I was at N Quartet convention. a few yrs ago. He acted like he knew me forever such a nice man.
packingten I can definitely sense that. I just started listening recently. I can’t get enough of his singing & Hymn Sings
That's what you call "Class"
GREAT SINGING.
JACK CALHOUN q
@newtz2000 Rodney Griffin is in the center.... he has been singing since 2002 that I know of... I heard Gerald, Rodney and Jason in 2002...
Gerald Wolfe you’re one very best
I'm just getting to really know this group...is this before Rodney Griffin joined them?
The originator of this song is gone but I remember him well Rev. Charles Cox.
he must be in great physical shape to render such a lenghty hold on the notes.
Gerald Wolfe/Mark Trammell/Matthew HageeAwesome song
Actually I believe the tenor singer is Chris Allman.
+Branden Blackwell Indeed it is.
FULL SWING!
Gerald sure does look young in this video. lol
Wow, look at how young they look! I love them, i go to watch their concerts all the time when they are here in IL :).
Where is Chris today?????????
i lyke you..
Why did Jason leave GV? I see there is a new tenor. :(
Or, in love with his Lord!
Looks like bass singer Tim Riley (behind wearing glasses) great bass. I wish the B-3 Hammond organ was playing here.
Sounds good anyway.
It sure was...
Do me something, don't make me weep. ;-)
since mark and chris left i have bought another one of the albums. just not the same.
I'm not a fan of the contemporary type singing but I ran across Gerald Wolfe @ Quartet Convention you will never meet a nicer or more down to earth person than him,This comes from a hillbilly😇.
Who played piano?
I believe it's Stan Whitmire.
Garcia Laura Gonzalez Richard Jones Laura
Chris Allman
sounds like the same melody of there is a savior
A
😭
the last album was 'the king came down' but they didn't win fav lead, tenor , bar, with current line up. great songs just not the best vocals.
That's silly.
Rodney Griffin's songs are awful. Quantity does not equal quality. I'll take a Kyla Rowland song over his any day of the year.
Count me in!!!!
