Jab first time rajyashabha ko formation kiya gya hoga to us time to sabhi member ek sath chune gye honge.....to phir apna tenure complete kar k ek sath wo log retire bhi huye honge....
Then my question how this policy of 2/3 MP retering every 2 years started..???

Despite being UT Delhi and Pondicherry have their representation in Rajya Sabha not bcoz of their population....but due to the reason that these 2 UTs have their own state assembly and having MLAs who can choose the Rajya Shabha MP...and on the other hand remaining UTs don't have their own state assembly and hence no MLAs to choose MP of Rajya Shabha😊

Out of all union territories only delhi and puducherry have representation in Rajya sabha because the population of others territories are too small to have any representative in the Rajya sabha

A good way of explaining concept but the nominated members are chosen from the field of science, art, literature, and social science. Not from the field of sports. Sachin tendulkar was selected on basis of social service not from sports category!That's one correction u need to do!
