No kidding. My wife and I saw this episode for the first time today and we both about died laughing at “Tool operator….Tooooool operator!”. So damn funny! These guys were geniuses.
This and “The Home Economics Story” are without a doubt, hands-down beyond all comparison, the two best, MST3K shorts. You would be doing yourself a disservice not to watch either of them. Trust me on this if you trust me on nothing else in our long life together.
I actually don't think this is that bad of a short; it has good info and does explain the purpose of studying Industrial Arts. But my god, it leads to one of the best riffings in MST3K history. "Depressed yet?" makes me laugh every single time.
This is funny, but the reality is that we need to bring back more of these classes than putting tampons in the boys room or teaching the alphabet people manifesto's.
unironically this should still be a thing. i want to take these classes now and i've been out of high school for 10 years
"I CAN'T get this thing back in my PANTS, Earl!" The way Crow says this always kills me.

Sure do! Ive done it twice today already!
