On the stats being fake, its not that they're fake its just if you have the best players constantly picking what is 'best' it skews those augments and builds even further towards being the 'best' even though the discrepancy is probably smaller than you think after people start doing so
Built diff can just be mono 4 costs. I think the devs didn’t think that quite through
My thoughts exactly. This seems even more "exploitable" in double up.
Nasus and Azir by themselves won me multiple games so far this set. Not even going shurima. Just kinda splashing them in as a perfect tank and even better apc.

Unit stats are not necessarly fake but aygments stats kinda are, cause they dont take into acount what units you natural what components you hit, etc. There is just way to much variance in TFT for stats to be that meaningfull. They can give you a very broad idea of powerlvl but thats it. Unit stats shoud be pretty acurate tho especially by star lvl
trait augment stat is kinda fake early season but generic combat/econ augment stat is not fake lol. There're huge gap between good combat/econ augment and dogshit ones

On stats being fake. It's not that stats dont matter its that stats are only one aspect of the equation. Just because one of your three augment choices has the best average placement that doesnt mean its always the best choice for your board based on a variety of reasons. Stats can be useful but i think players can intuit the optimal choice more often than not and even outside of that we all make choices for a chance at stuff like highrolls or risk taking or just for fun or because you like a certain augment.
The only time stats should really completely define what you pick is if you have a non directional opening and ur choosing on 2-1, that’s the only time that the avg placement rly matters more than anything else
