Jeff was my childhood dream skater, i wanted to skate like him so bad!
Jeff will forever be a Pillar in the rollerblading community🙌🏾
Teakettle=Jeff among more
Top ten of all time.
I grew up learning how to do everything Stockwell did in videos. Absolute legend.
Never get tired of his torques and still don't know how he does it
Juggalo Blader from Riverside CA since 2000. You should consider having anyone from the cast of the movie Brink. A Jake Elliot interview would be dope. Let's face it, that movie did inspire some of us to pick up some skates or "skate better". Whoop whoop.
The fear factor is what holds people back from true greatness. I'm new to aggressive skating and skateparks. I've been skating since the big surge in the 90's and I was 35 then. Well...I'm 61 now, but in good shape and back into and loving skating again. But now it's aggressive. So hyped about it.
Just dealing with the fear factor of getting my skates off the ground and onto a rail. Seems so foreign to me. I'm now practicing jumping up onto boxes and stalls on rails but it's a real thing to get onto that rail.
Really looking forward to when I can get past this fear. Maybe I should get or make a play rail.

After Jeff says, "You really gonna tell how you feel about me."
I was fully expecting Billie to just ask if he could shut down the podcast and just start roasting Jeff 😂
Amazing episode as always. 🎉
Great interview. So cool hearing these insights into the lives of pros that I’ve admired for so long. Keep up the awesome work Billy and Austin! Thank you for all that you guys contribute to blading.
Tell Jeff I said what's up. We spent the whole week at Woodward together last century. He had the first USD's I've ever seen and HATED the fact that I made Jon Marshall's top group and he didn't. My rolling crowning achievement fo sho.
Jeff has one of my favourite styles on them long ass grinds
Best episode with the best dude ever!
I used to love being a skate mechanic haha. it was literally everything I ate and breathed and thought about from 12-18 years old.
lol at 33 min in billy pourin up , love yall keep it up
I was expecting him to talk about Ryan Northway for some reason, I always thought they were buddies? All episodes are great, kudos to y'all and blessings...
One of the coolest episodes. Jeff's the man!
Props to Jeff for paying for skates nowadays.
kind of weak as fuck he has to....
@@moihawk666 He doesn't, that's my point. He could easily mooch skates from pretty much anyone, but he doesn't, he buys them instead.
agree to disagree .... you want to support a company/industry that wont support their superstars ..... obvi no one blades for the money ... but this is just sad ... hey touche to him having a good job and to stop skating... makes sense
Such a cool guy and great skater. Love how he buys his skates to support too. Perfect attitude.
Take a drink every time Jeff says “you know” lol Great interview!
Jeff was my reason for getting into skating so I'll forever love Jeff
JEFF is one of my 10 fav skaters for sure. He is legit a top-10 skill skater too.
Jeff talking activated my google home lol, I loved this interview, it was extra interactive.
Watching his double part in Film made me quit skateboarding after like 15 years and pick up blades
one of my faves
His FILM sections are the best. Tricks to songs shits 🔥
I forgot about that video man I loved it.
I skateboard for 10 years saw Jeff's part I picked up blades
One of the best ones yet guys. 🤘🤘
Jeff was a huge infulence for me growing up after seeing the Heat Team Video. Even ended up riding a pair of Xsjado.
LEGEND
You guys need to get Brian Shima on here.
Such a good episode! I was really stoked to listen to what Jeff had to say. This one is also mostly kid friendly too so I listened to some of it with my 9yo son, he was paying attention and absorbing the wisdom haha :) He also asked me if I ever skated with any of you guys. Damn. I wish. I would have been on a way different level if I even knew you existed back then (and probably wouldn't have quit for 15 years - what a shame). I will educate my boy not to make the same mistake...
its never too late to start back up again!
@@JumpStreetPodcast that's true, been back for 3 seasons now and it's still one of the best things I have ever done.
Jeffs a cool humble guy.🤘
Keep up the good work guys.
Bay fam🌉
I love at the end about Brandon giving Jeff shit, I know a particular someone (cough. cough Daniel Kinney) who did that to me the entire time filming Quo.
Cool episode :) Thanks
thank you for this.
Dang man I didn't know Jeff cranked it down that much, but I guess it's the inevitable. Still makes me a bit sad, since I still have his up and coming advert from DB mag
Amazing!!!!
Ski jumps are like the mega ramp, kinda, snow is different, Chris Haffey skis I remember.
so thank you for making the content but... who are the two hosts? i love the casual drinking vs the blunt drinking... yesss .... im for sure more of a Stockwell drinker
Thank you so much for JSP
42:29-43:20 I know that ERA. THE BEST. IT WAS LIKE 02-04'.
My buddies and I started around that era and were watching the VHS copy of Senate - PROJECT MAYHEM. EVERY DAY before we skated in the early 2000's
I started in 2001 and I remember MONEY WAS FLOWING IN HARD till 2004 no problem. My buddy and his bro always had new skates. Solomon St90's, The Chris Farmer WHITE TRS Alphas he used in his first WORDS section. Heck my buddy even would get Daily bread magazine. His parents also got them Razors Icons I think with the odd not one piece "puck" style soul plates. Rare Razor skate.
Great episode
ALMOST 6K subs!!
Loved the heat tour DVD. Get him his pro model
Jeff should send it to Australia for sure!
🙌jeff!
"you're most known for your bowl skating" ahh is he?? Ive never heard that. We always knew Jeff as a street skater and his most famous work is his FILM section and vg17 section
Mets hat, blue with the orange - best cap of of all time? I'm from Cinci so I gotta say Reds but that blue and orange has always been money
I feel him when it comes to street skating, I like it but especially here in Jax fl all the spots are so spread out plus any street spot has either sketchy runway or landing zone making it not even worth it
How does a tall guy like Stockwell wear a size 7? I'm only 5'8" and wear 11. Makes no sense for him to wear the same size as Shima, but I'm glad he's still around, and it should be no shock he is rolling on THEMS.
any chance we will get rob guerrero on here?
Can i suggest you guys get a smaller table and sit a little bit closer. I just feel like you're all not sitting close enough.
1:07:00 just a little coffee lol
awesome
Jeff always was and will forever be my favourite blader. Him being in his 40s and having that amount of mastery still being practised at the park is truely motivating! He should probably sneak in some barbell workouts here and there to take a little bit of extra care of his joints ;) check his instagram, he's like the best bowl blader ever. what he does is beyond perfection, never fails to amaze me!
Which Brandon was he talking about that passed :(? Damn
Damn, he still doesn't have his own skates, what a shame!
What about Razors genesys?
@@dopetag I think you missed that part in the podcast. He doesn't have the pair of skates to keep for the memories
Xsjado Jeff Stockewell
The Intuition skate shop video 'Illumination' with Jeff and Ian was so good. The intro music to that video from Trans Am was the goat. ruclips.net/video/TM-2uEg_3Oo/видео.html
i feel like you guys need a "jamie" the person that looks shit up on the spot and puts it on the page... or content or whatever .... speaking as a JRE fan.
Old? Shit I'm 61 and still skating. Just getting into aggressive. I find eating carnivore really helps in healing and joints. A carb diet will cause a lot of inflammation. The standard American diet will downgrade your body rapidly. I've been eating only meat for 2 years now and have the body of a 30 year old. I no longer even need my glasses for distance because this diet is so good for you. We've all been lied to...plants are not good for you and are full of toxins. Plus all fruits and veg are man made. Nothing from nature on your grocery store shelves.
Eat meat get your youth back and start regenerating all your tissue.
Sugar and carbs that you eat from grains all turn into sugar and are your number one enemy.
Sugar is more addictive than cocaine and will ruin your joints to a bleeding mess of cartilage.
Wanna be an old man quick keep on they sugar and carb diet.
We aren't designed to eat plants and can't digest them. Animals that can, have multiple stomachs and the microbes and bacteria break down the plant fiber...not the enzymes and acids that we only have. We only have one stomach and it's full of sulfuric acid and turns meat into liquid. It does nothing to plant fiber.
