    Hurts refusal to throw to the middle of the field, especially with Smitty running those crossing routes, is maddening. Just drives me up the wall.

      I have been saying it since the beginning of the year. It's going to come back and hurt this team....mark my words. Barkley is amazing but he's not always going to dominate the ground if good teams load up the box and dare Jalen to throw it. No quarterback is going to make every pass or see every receiver open, but the rate in which the Eagles receivers are wide open and Jalen keeps targeting just AJ is alarming. He's making 50 plus million and Jalen cant read the defense and scan the field to distribute the ball to everyone though progressions. Look at Lamar Jackson last night against the Bucs. Henry dominated the ground but Lamar threw the ball everywhere and got everyone involved... That's how you make your offense dynamic and hard to stop. The Eagles are doing almost the same thing they did last year and it's going to screw them.... just wait for it.

      Also missed saquon in the flat who was wide open

    • @DJAqueous
      @DJAqueous 2 дня назад +1

      @@tonyb460the reason why the pass to the flat was so egregious is that he was staring Barkley down. I guess he was waiting for him to get past 5 yards? It's like he thinks if it's under a 5 yard throw it's too dangerous or not worth it. Whatever is going on, is in Jalen's head. I think Todd Bowles might have broken our QB

      @@ike.o6944 We see the growth with Lamar. He’s come a long way from 2018 (especially as a drop-back passer). He has definitely learned from his mistakes. But Lamar has the fire and determination within him that Jalen just doesn’t have. Lamar is on a mission. He has a vision, and he’s not playing around. He is determined to achieve his goal. That is the difference between the two. I don’t know what’s going on with Hurts. But when I see how the Ravens o-line are playing, I always say this is how the Eagles o-line should be operating with the personnel they have right now. There’s a disconnect. Is it the HC? Or is it the QB? Or is it the front office? Something is off.

    Mark my words, it's only a matter of time but DeJean will surely break one for a TD as a returner. Whit boy got moves. Also definitely passes the smell test as a nickel corner but long term, as he grows into his body, I see him as a free safety.

    Our defense should be able to do the same to burrow he gets sacked a lot. Our o line is way better at run blocking than pass protect I been noticing that this year

    The craziest part of the situation with Jalen is, that was the jump they said he took in our SB run. AJ spoke about in interviews, how Jalen was taking what the defense gave him and wasn't taking as many deep shots. Hopefully he's not gone back to being greedy.

  • @DJAqueous
    @DJAqueous 2 дня назад +1

    So my issue right now is that Kellen Moore was brought in to help Jalen get the ball out quickly and he still holds onto the ball too long.
    People keep saying that run first isn't sustainable in the "modern NFL" ok, then run UNTIL the defense sells out on the run THEN throw. They adjust, then go back to the run. Take what the defense gives on that day, in that quarter, on that series. We have the weapons to pick your poison. Ever since that 2-5 start, there have only been a couple of defenses that had the talent up front to stop this offensive line in run blocking

    Y’all have to stop acting like we’ve never seen Jalen be a gun slinger in a Super Bowl before and also threw the ball in the middle of the field that season, and please stop acting like Nelson Agholor didn’t win a Super Bowl and he played amazing that season so we gotta stop that fellas

    MR.Avant I appreciate your teaching of this game..but let's be REAL..Hurts is a SLOW PROCESSOR ( 21/50 on WONDERLIC TEST) it's year 5 in the NFL..and year 13 as a QB...will he ever be able to PROCESS quick enough to RUN A PROPER OFFENSE?...give it to me straight😢 😮

      Lamar Jackson scored a 13 and they said he's figured it out. Maybe that answers your question. CJ Stroud famously scored low on S2. I think he can process

    • @CerebralSigma
      @CerebralSigma 2 дня назад

      @@TheodoreNicklas Yes, with the help of Kellen Moore I believe he can. Even when you go back to the Dan Marino and Terry Bradshaw days, they both scored low on the Wonderlic test (16 and Marino 15). That didn’t stop either of them from ascending in their careers as quarterbacks. Some people still hold Marino to a very high level. It can be done.
