Grobanite895 Look,I know it's been 10 years ago you commented this but YES OH MY GOSH,HIS EYES ARE SO SWEET AND PURE,ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THINGS THAT I EVER SAW!
This movie is fantastic, but the scenes with Mr. Perry are hard for me to watch (even though I do admire the actor, Kurtwood Smith). Children were not put here on Earth to fulfill the dreams and aspirations of their parents.
+ddivincenzo1 I agree. Neil should not cringe and tell Mr. Keating that his father is verbally strict. I mean, why shouldn't Neil move out? It's his house, too.
Director:* tries to create the most stern, dull and disciplined scenery* Some guy on yt:"oh wow so pretty, i wish I could literally live there my entire life and never leave"
One of my favorite scene. I love this movie so much and Neil is my favorite character but I can't not like Todd too he is so cute ! They are perfect together
And this SMILE! I would die for being smiled at like this!!!!!!!!!!! I just LOVE this movie more than I ever loved one! Damn it, why HAS Neil to die *sniff*
This is certainly my favorite movie, I'm Portuguese but I've studied English literature so I watched this film about 15 times and 15 times I cried, just amazing, no words... Dulce Lopes
as someone with depression, it's clear that neil wasn't okay at all. when you're depressed you have to find and act on the small things that make life worth living, which for neil was acting, but everything he was ever passionate about was stripped away from him. he was a prisoner in his own life and was, truly, trapped. neil tried asking for help, did everything right, but in the end you break.
The solidarity of spirit that becomes greatly solidified in this sweetly and soothingly endearing scene is spectacularly relevant to the theme of this superb movie. Also, one of the more salient themes of this movie was predicated upon this thoroughly honed sense of individualistic style, this uninhibited and ripened outlook, individual choice and overall freedom (finding its poignant genesis in the inspirational and moving teachings of one fearless, poetic and inspired educational pioneer) COLLIDING WITH this stolid, tradition bound environment of idealized honor, unwavering dedication to past ways, mind-sets and methods, this absurdly unquestioned and staid convention and honorable, largely status quo influenced intention, all coalescing as this rolling wave crashing into molten lava. That, fellow Dead Poets Society connoisseurs, is the very essence of this magnificent movie, and one of its driving themes (along with embracing one's sense of individuality, and following one's true path, compelling themes that really define and symbolize this much of this movie's profound and sublime purpose.). O Captain, My Captain!
yup, never share your idea with someone else, first work on idea, then when you have something, then share it. ppl will either praise you for nothing but idea, making you feel like you already achieved the goal, and making you less likely to pursue it for real, or they will shoot it down, not necessarily for malicious reasons. keep ideas to your self, show only minimal viable product
This literally looks like a couple who had an argument and being cute right after lmao
