  • In this episode, Scottie shares 10 lessons he's learned from his 10 years on RUclips. They cover everything from creativity, to filming, to trip planning and to fishing. These are lessons taken from books, podcasts, other RUclips creators and learned lessons as well. He's joined by Brent Hermanussen & Steve Beaulieu, both active Wild Fly team members and friends. Ah, the dreaded 10/10. Man, no matter what you tell your brain, it still sucks. It's good to know that even at your level, you still feel the same. Your films are a great inspiration to me, and I always end up straight into editing or planning or filming after watching one, and I steal a fair bit. Your storytelling and use of music are just phenomenal. Hopefully, I can get to just a fraction as good, eventually. I look forward to whatever comes next and absolutely loved the latest Alaska one. Tight lines team, and thanks for the podcast.

As an aspiring new creator this podcast was very helpful and inspiring to listen to. I look up to Wild Fly Productions in hopes of creating the quality of content you guys create. A key point on this podcast that stuck out to me, from the few short fishing films i have created, keeping the most positive energy throughout the trip is key to a great video. The people around you and the quality of attitude really shines through each clip and makes or breaks the vibe of a video in my opinion as well. Keep up the good work guys, you are doing great! Thanks, Luke
