I actually DID pick up the Huda palette, and was surprisingly impressed with the formulas in this palette!! And that slippery shade was totally disturbing until I was able to press into the pan and all the pigment dispersed and created a “tie dye” effect! I ended up using the Slippery shade on my cheeks and for someone with textured aging skin, it provided a nice blurring effect with some nice light pigment.

thank you for the realistic evaluation, I'm so tired of the cheerleading of all new products. I think we all are now such better educated cosmetic shoppers (thanks to you tubers like you Jena) that we just don't fall for gimmicks like face gel, and simply make better choices, and buy fewer products. I love to buy cosmetics, but I now buy fewer, but am so much happier with what I do buy!!

Viseart has a great matte formula. I would be interested in those quads. To be fair I don’t love large palettes and stick to quads so I don’t go for ND palettes. Also PM palettes are a bit too bold for my taste. I stick with CT, DIor, Chanel and Cle de Peau quads.
Viseart is my favourite brand. The quality is always excellent & the longevity of the shadows is amazing.
re: viseart. Love! I have Paris edit and it is hands down my fave palette I own. I don't mind that the edit palettes are small - I think the quality is good and $50 is my limit for buying a palette. But I do not want these 4 pans. I want more mattes in my life, but yes to Viseart.
Viseart is one of my favorite brands. Their shadow quality is fantastic and of course I have all of their palettes.
Hope they release Grande volume 4 soon!
I love Viseart! Definitely a much better value (for both pros and am's) and range than PM. Love ND but would choose Viseart over most other high end brands/formulas.

I buy all of Natasha’s releases and some of Pat’s. I don’t buy Charlotte bc for me her collection is a little one noted but I would put Viseart right up with these top brands. Beautiful beautiful quality they just don’t get a lot of youtube hype in my opinion
Love your thoughts on anti-haul and I’d actually like to see more of these from content creators while still keeping it respectful to brands. I’m passing on the ND triochrome palette this year. It doesn’t scream holiday for me. It just looks like a better palette for spring or summer. Plus the promo pictures were so punchy but after seeing live swatches it’s a bit lacking. Not to say I won’t pick it up, but I’d rather pick it up at an appropriate time.
Viseart is my favourite eyeshadow brand. I am not interested in "intergalactic", VR sparkly shadows that PML is known for. They are pretty, but not my style. Besides, I think her brand is severely overpriced and doesn't fit to my standards of luxury (thick plastic? really?). Natasha Denona on the other hand hasn't produced a color story I would really be attracted to. She also likes to "experiment" with her formulas and I prefer to buy something that I know will work for me 100%. If she comes out with a peachy/coral themed larger palette, I will probably buy it though.
Overall, Viseart caters to my needs and expectations when it comes to eyeshadow - easy to use, reliable, travel friendly, looks great on my 40 year old eyelids, amazing matt formula and I really like the smaller pans/more colours format they've been coming out with lately. The only issue I have with them is that they use Paris in their name, despite being a US based brand. I know they used to be in France, handmade and all that... but unfortunately, that's not the case anymore and I consider it to be a deceptive marketing tactic.

Viseart is the best of the best in my opinion. I own most of the palettes including 3 pro palettes.. Not one shade was ever a disappointment while PML, Natasha and Charlotte have few disappointments. If I ever become a collector Viseart is the one I’ll be collecting.
Viseart’s origin and history is French, it’s natural that Paris, City of Light, should hold a special place in their heart.
@@Dana-712FifthAve Nothing wrong with that, I don't mind if they put french words on their products either. But when you include it in the brand name - that's deceiving. They aren't the only brand doing it... Australian Gold sunscreen, Tatcha skincare (I've seen influencers saying it's Japanese and they say it's "japanese beauty products" on their website) - these companies are based in the US and pay US taxes.
@@truebaronesse5653 I hear ya but Viseart is so ubiquitously French I don’t see how they could be misconstrued by naming a palette Paris Edit. If my memory isn’t playing tricks on me, I even recall French monasteries as playing some part in early production. Like Veuve Clicquot ever being anything but French, almost. Well, if they moved their vineyards maybe 🤔

I get why someone with a lot of palettes might not want the new HB Naughty palette. I rediscovered wine colors this fall and don’t have much of this color in my palettes, so I purchased it during the Sephora sale. I’ve only used it a few times, but so far I’m really loving it. The quality of it, of course, is wonderful. Untamed is just the burgundy color I was hoping for. The marbled shades exceeded my expectations...especially Passion...burgundy with flips of pink and dark blue...stunning. And Slippery...it’s a bit confusing, but not as extreme and drama-filled as I’ve been seeing. I’ve seen people swatch it where it is clear, , but I have dark beads in mine and it swatches with a pretty pink sheen. Not sure how/if I’ll use it, but I might try it alone on my eye for a casual look. People complain because palettes have nothing new, and freak out when there is something new! Again, your reason for not purchasing makes perfect sense. For me, I think it was a good purchase, and I’m very happy with it!

It's great to see so many fans of Viseart here! I am, too! I bought my first few palettes of mattes (because I've been a matte girl for*ever*), and have only recently started to broaden my horizons with shimmers. (I have the Viseart Bridal Satin 12-pan on its way to me.) The way I look at the branding, I consider Natasha Denona and Pat McGrath to be the flashy "catwalk" brands; Viseart is the "behind the curtain" brand where all the work is done. :) To me, Viseart creates a beautiful, consistent product, one I can count on no matter what look I'm going for.

Slippery was literally the one thing that prevents me from buying the HB palette. Can't get over it, "yikes" indeed!😅 The By Mario stuff is just so *meh* for me. Loved the video, reinforces the fact that even as a makeup junkie you can tell what's just not made for you. Sending love x

I did pick up the huda palette and I thought that shade was very unique to me and caught my interest it's like a gloss jelly feeling it reminds me of pomegranate seeds i can appreciate the thought because it makes me wonder how it feels works but not a fan of it really but other shades in palette & marble shades I did enjoy 😊 so I'd say it's a good palette but very similar shades to other palettes she has but since I don't have much from her brand it was a good one for me 🤷♀️

I was going to get the Huda palette during the Sephora sale, but decided to start my no buy now instead. I don’t need it and only wanted to buy it to add to my Huda collection.
I agree with many of your picks. Any kind of gloss that isn't put on the lips is a no-no for me. I have very oily skin and I live in a 24/7 hot and humid region, so I have enough natural 'face gloss' myself! The Huda 'Slippery' shade looks like a viral outbreak to me and that's the last thing I need right now. The ND triochrome palette colour story is not my style, but I still feel that it should be more than what it is right now to justify the price. More multi-chrome shades perhaps, or a better formula? In the reviews I've seen, the multichrome shades look more like shimmers.
I have two Viseart palettes and I like them. They are high quality and I like the petite sized palettes. That pink quad has a pink that would make most people look sick, I think. The Praline looks pretty and as I passed on other palettes with similar colour stories, I might get that.
I bought the Naughty nude palette even tho it’s similar to the other ones.. I really like it. I haven’t used the jelly as it’ll smear the look. It’s fun. It reminds me of a full Fire Rose by CT.
Viseart over ND and CT. Yes!! I could choose between Viseart and Pat. 😀
It seems like we have pretty similar tastes in Jo Malone. Wood sage and sea salt is my signature scent and nectarine and honey in the spring and summer is 👌🏻. I also own wild bluebell and blackberry and bay but I don’t use them as much since wood sage and sea salt came into my life lol. In the winter/fall I usually gravitate to English oak and red currant. I highly recommend you go smell that one the next time you’re in store. I think you may like it 💗.

I used to LOVE Viseart shadows, but I feel like since they’ve been quick-releasing palettes (unfortunately, like everyone else) that their quality has gone downhill 😢 Makes me so sad because they used to be in my top 5. I miss the days of brands having only a few new releases a year, if that. It made the makeup feel more special.
I’m NOT hauling the ND Triochrome. I wanted it so badly when the first photos were released but after watching lots of reviews I feel like I just don’t neeeeeeeed it in my collection.
I did haul the Huda Naughty Nudes and I’m so glad I did! It is freaking beautiful. I’m a sucker fo her larger palettes, they are my favorite!!

I don't understand the hype around huda's eyeshadow palettes. I have the rose gold remastered, the warm browns, and the emerald obsessions. All 3 palettes had glitter shades that would never go on without a ton of fallout. And they don't blend that great either. Don't get me wrong, I love her bullet lipsticks and even her line of lashes. I...just don't get why people love her eyeshadows so much when there are so many other better options to choose from. So, skipping the huda palette for sure.

Ughhhh I’m really struggling with if I want to buy the CT fire rose or wait until BF to see if it goes on sale. I bought the makeup by Mario rose palette and I really like it🤷🏻♀️ I’ve never bought a Huda product and still don’t feel super inspired by the new palette. I’m on the fence about the PML mega palette-I love her shadows and I’m not sure why I didn’t buy it! I hope someone buys me that for Christmas. Lol great video

I have all the huda beauty palettes and without a doubt the texture of the shadows is different and the shine is very good, there is nothing behind Natasha denona or Charlotte tilbury that I also love
For me, Viseart does not rank anywhere nearly as high as CT, PM, or ND. I bought one of their $80USD palettes and the issue for me was that the colors in the palette looked totally different on my eyes. After that experience, I just gave the palette to a friend and stick with my faves :) Pat McGrath, Charlotte Tilbury, and Natasha Denona are much more exciting to me AND I have had way better experiences with their products.
I was thinking about to buy a new huda palette, cause I’ve never tried any of her products and for me it’s not a dupe.. but I’ll skip this and probably will go for CT bejewelled or ND glam palette ☺️ ND could be great for my pale skin, CT - I just love this colour story 😀

I ended up purchasing the Huda naughty nude and the Mario eye shadow prep and set. Since I have a deeper skin tone, I was excited to see some deeper shades in the naughty nude, especially since the new nude palette was pretty light. So, I’m hoping I love it when it gets here lol

@@JenaFroese I got it today and immediately started playing with it lol. The mattes definitely show up better on my skin tone than the New Nudes. Slippery is unnecessary lol. The marbles and shimmers have some fallout, but similar to her other palettes. Overall, I like it and am glad I picked it up

I had a lip mini of Omi and it developed a white waxy coating on the outside, it just seemed off so I tossed it.
I recently discovered that I ADORE Pat McGrath matte lipsticks I bought 2 during the latest Sephora sale. I’m obsessed. I like them more than CT lipsticks which were my favorite until I tried Pat.
The matte trance formula is so comfortable I totally agree!! ❤️
I pick and choose based off color. I LOVE Paris nudes (the big one) for one and done. I love the colors, I just haven’t loved the color story enough. I have Pat, Natasha, CT, and them :)

Hi Jena - I AGREE with all of the items you are passing on. I thought twice about the Huda Beauty palette, but it's too expensive for the amount of wear I think I will get out of it. To answer your question - I think I am going to pass on the ND Nude highlighter and triochrome palette. I have too many highlighters to spend that kind of money on and was not that impressed with the eye palette. It was a pricy item as well. I did pick up the mini Zendo palette, so I think I'm good for the holidays! Great video, BTW!! 🤗

I do want to pick up the Framboise quad because pink is life 😂 I picked up Paris Edit this summer and it’s amazing. I’ve always been interested in Viseart, but whenever I’ve had the cash for a haul, those are the ones that have ended up losing out to Natasha/Pat/Charlotte purchases. I’m interested, but they don’t catch my eye quite like the others I listed.

I am not skilled with make up so I appreciate these brands, because they are so easy to work with, I own several palettes of each because they practically blend themselves : 1) Tom Ford 2) Viseart 3) Charlotte Tilbury. I do own like 5 of the PM bigger palettes and they are gorgeous, but they are not newbie friendly. I feel intimidated every time that I attempt to use them, even tho they are so pretty to look at. I have better luck creating looks with her quads.

I own a number of Viseart palettes which I enjoy especially their edit palettes. However, I am not interested in either of the colour stories for the quads. I initially was interested in ND Triochrome palette but after looking at it more closely, I think I will pass especially at the higher price point. Maybe if it was a midi palette as I do like green and purple.
I don’t think I’m going to be buying any holiday releases and that’s okay. I bought two fall palettes, ND glam and colourpop Hocus Pocus. Both seem holiday to me!

a lot of reviews said it's not good and I don't like big Palette anymore also me and my sister chip in to pay pat Mega Mothership: Celestial Divinity Eyeshadow Palette
I had lusted over Viseart palettes for a few years, and during the last Muse Beauty Pro BTGT sale, I was planning on buying a few of the $39 palettes. I kept on going back and forth on what I wanted to buy, then I realized that the only reviews of these palettes I could find on RUclips were from RUclipsrs who were gifted these palettes (and nobody wanted to spend their own money on them? weird..). This pulled me out of my hypnosis quite hard, and I don't feel the need to own any of their palettes anymore. I do own two of their 12 pan palettes, and I while I think their quality is great, I just don't reach for them.
Also regarding Jo Malone fragrances - I've amassed quite a Jo Malone perfume collection, because JM online (US) will run "spend $x get a full-sized perfume free" deals. If you're lucky, you can sometimes score a 100mL perfume with purchase of another perfume, which is a fantastic deal, IMO. I would never buy the "deluxe" samples with my own money, when I know I can get virtually a 50% discount on their perfumes :)
I purchased the Hourglass 6-pan ambient lighting palette during the VIB sale, and I think that may be the extent of my holiday purchase. I am planning on picking up some Clionadh shadows & Holo Taco (do I love Canadians or what? lol), but those aren't exactly holiday-related :)
Honestly I’ve been loving my viseart petite and edit palette. The size, colour story, and value is amazing!!
Defo skipping ND triochrome. Hard to pull off, not worth the money.
I’ve been skipping PMG palette as well. I have 4 full size, 1 quad, 2 of their tiny plastic palette, and found myself barely reaching for them.
They’re pretty for vanity but not for the kind of girl who runs for the door every morning 😂

I agree with all of your assessments on the news products out but I did purchase the Huda Beauty because I hadn't purchased any other other eyeshadow palettes. I did buy vizioarts small pallets the Paris and they were nice but I agree I am prefer Charlotte tilbury's Natasha denona and Pat McGrath I think it's the Elegance of the others. Patrick Ta balm looks like Vaseline with glitter. I love his cream and powder blush his lip liners and his lip creams.

I consistently reach for my Viseart Paris Edit palette as I enjoy the colour story and formula. However, I won’t be buying the new quads, but definitely thumbs up for the brand.

I tried a few Viseart palettes and I found them to be unimpressive. I bought two of the Dior palettes and two Dior blushes from the sale. I think they are nice, but overall just nice. I have a ton of makeup and have tried so many high end brands. In the long run I think most of this stuff is not worth our money...Charlotte Tilbury, Natasha Denona and Fenty are by far my favorites for glamour and Dior/Lancôme provide my best base.
Visiart is my top top favorite I don't know why they are not more popular. I am not interested in the ND triochrome palette I dont know if its just my conspiracy theory but I feel like PMG and ND go back and forth almost re doing and switching concepts and unique shades... Hear me out example PMG mothership rose 2 artistry palette that duo chrome pink green now ND trichome green pink yellow shade, also ND gold pallette green gold duo chrome and PMG mothership V same shade. it goes on and on.

I bought the Huda Beauty Naughty palette, that slippery shade has like 5 balls in them and is clear. It doesn't even look like the original picture, which I am fine with it since I was planning on covering it. I do enjoy her formula and the rest of the shades are amazing, but you can definitely dupe those looks if you have any of her palettes. There are a few shades like the swirly that are unique in color in her collection. This doesn't mean you can't dupe them, anyone can dupe those colors. Makeup by Mario was a let down, mind you I haven't tried his formula. But for some reason I expected more and for me the hype didn't correlate with the actual product. I love Pat McGrath but I will never buy those matte lipsticks again, I have like 10 and that's enough. You need perfect lips for those lipsticks to look sexy, any creasing or texture in your lips and they look awful after a few hours. I am not getting injections in my lips to make a lipsticks look good, my lips can go ahead and be happy with satin formula or gloss. To repair your lips buy Aquaphor, which is a product send from heaven. It has SPF 30 fragrance free, I use them regularly specially this time of year. For an Indian tone,(I am NC40 in MAC) It is sometimes overwhelming, not having too many options on buying the makeup, Viseart is really good brand but cannot fit in the standards which PMG, Natasha Denona and Charlotte Tilbury has set. I feel they are overpriced :/
Totally agree on the skips! Viseart...I am not impressed. Skipping on ND' s new pallet. Just not my colours, maybe the top row🙄. I realy am a big fan of Charlotte Tilbury like you. Have a big order coming this week...Yahoo!! HB pallete nothing new and the slippery shade looks like something that was grown in a lab....🤣
I love Viseart, but they are not a fun brand for me, they are more of a brand I like to get staples from, such as easy looks for work and all matte palettes

I know we all justify getting palettes that have similar color stories, which is okay, but to me the Huda Beauty Naughty Nudes palette looks like literally every other mauve-y toned palette that I own. I know she was trying to be innovative with the looks and textures of the shadows but I'm a simple girl. I'm fine with my basic mattes, metallics and shimmers. Besides, I've seen people review the Slippery "shade" and there was no pigment nor was the glossiness that glossy. My point is that this was an easy pass for me. Hope all who bought it are enjoying though!

I’m not buying the Huda palette either!!!! It’s not exciting at all ……… I was so excited to see what she would come out with because the Mercury Retrograde 🥰 is one of my favorite palettes in my huge collection!!! So sad this is all she could come up with this year. 🤯🤐
Viseart to me is not consistent. sometimes i love sometimes i don't. Those two quads are definitely a pass.
Won't be buying the ND triochrome, the huda palettes or anything from makeup by mario. I'm currently lusting after a lot of charlotte tilbury and pat mcgrath. The brown quad from viseart is the first thing that has intrigued me about the brand and if the reviews are good I will pick it up. It's the perfect everyday palette for work😍
