    @tonnyvanhemert9826 Год назад

    Hi Taylor! I am an agate enthousiast myself, and if you are okay with it, I would like to give a tip. The agates you cut tend to go a bit too fast. They end up with micro fractures, which make them more difficult to polish in the end. You can see all the small white markings that follow each other up, those are fractures from cutting too fast or rough😊

    • @tonnyvanhemert9826
      @tonnyvanhemert9826 Год назад

      The agates after 7:30 show the micro fractures very well

    • @AgateDad
      @AgateDad  Год назад +1

      Well I agree they have micro surface fractures, most clips are sped up if that’s not known but I am working on figuring out how to maintain cooler blade and water temperature to minimize this issue. I actually talk about this in tomorrows video 😂

    • @tonnyvanhemert9826
      @tonnyvanhemert9826 Год назад

      @@AgateDad awesome! It can have all sorts of causes. If you buy agates cut in China, they will all have these fractures. Luckily, I don't have this problem at home😅
