Gillian Baltazar where did you hear that? well, I'd understand why they respect him because he's a talented individual and has made it big repeatedly., but actually it's because even though gd, seungri have really cheery personalities, when they're at award shows in the audience, they don't react very much to the point it makes them seem unapproachable. you can see fancams and such.
maybe it's because their style is swag and cool etc. etc, but you wouldn't really want to converse with someone wearing sunglasses indoors and looking like they're too cool to talk to you.

again, this is just my thoughts on this matter. you don't have to admire someone (especially in korea, where the sunbae-hooba culture is pretty intense) to like them, or be intimidated by them.
the bb members are usually pretty intimidating ( to non fans who only see them in shows) and that's the outlook they actually have.
