    The pot stand is designed to work with a round bottom wok as well as 10 inch and larger pots and pans. That's the reason for the upward curve on the inner part of the supports.

    This one is awesome for car camping! I have even taken it on short backpack trips when I want to cook eggs, bacon and pancakes!! I LOVE it!! For smaller pots, I have a small square stainless campfire grid I place on top of the pot legs in their stretched out mode and it heats up a 750 or 1000 in no time at all ! Great review Ernie!!

      My thought exactly was using a grid too so good to hear your thoughts. I like it as well. Bushyboy Oz

    With an adapter could hook up a Coleman green canister for longer cooking. I see an emergency contingency with the stove when powers out. Or just on a picnic for the brats 😊. Think I will add to my home emergency kit this way I wouldn’t have to break out the Coleman duel fuel stove with stansport adapter. The smaller stoves I have will not support larger or heavier pots. Yeppers I can see potential with one. Thanks my god send guru of reviews. Still my go to guy on gear review. Thanks again and LOTS

    The lugs that cause the pot holders to fold in may be a deliberate design feature. If you are using a wok the pot stands will come up to meet the wok and hold is securely.
    Remembering that a lot of Chinese cooking is done over a very large flame, using a wok, 15000btu and post stands that move make sense for a Chinese product.

  • @jamesschneider3828
    @jamesschneider3828 Месяц назад +1

    Good looking stove, but, I would give a redesign to the folding pot supports. Where they pivot for folding I would put a wing nut and the supports themselves could be slotted so you can you can move them in for smaller pots and out for larger pots or fry pans. The wing nuts could be used to keep the pot supports from folding.

    I think it's a great stove, and in the camping world, it definitely has its place. it's not for me to use while camping, but it would come in handy in other situations .

    Fire Maple makes a 12 inch "grill pan" (as they call it), which is basically a large round griddle. I got it for use on a different propane grill, but I believe that it was designed for use with this stove.

    looks like a great stove for emergency use at home. and not too bad of a price either. i wonder how it would fry eggs and sausage. it looks like it would work good with the Stanley Adventure camp cook sets.

    Similar handy design to my Kovea camp stove. The only negative, like the Kovea, is the piezo on the leg, which is a disaster if you have sandy or dusty ground, it’ll jam up in no time.

    Could cook a good steak in a frypan, or a stir-fry in a wok, as it has the heat control.

    I have seen this advertised and I have passed it by as being a bit too limited in its use. To have such a big stove without a windshield of any kind is a bit of a negative, and when camping I want maximum versatility and efficiency. For the size and money, might as well go with a trangia gas version.

  • @medusaman1

    Love it but I think it is a little bit too strong for small disposable gas canisters. I would have preferred it to hook to refillable gas tanks. Great for tailgating.

    I have the Bulin 6800W stove and it has almost all of the advantages of the above stove, is somewhat lighter, and handles small pots and even cups. I think it is superior to this stove and was somewhat cheaper.

    That stove is clearly not for backpacking or even day hiking. It is only for car camping or emergency home use. For me, if I am going car camping I am just going to take a traditional Coleman two burner propane stove. Why limit yourself to just one burner if you are car camping? So this stove just wouldn’t have a clear fit for me.

    A waste of money, design features are horrendous and just look at this thing, a total waste of material and the cost is ridiculous. I saw this last year...another failure from China.
