I was an Episcopal priest for 30 years. Converted to the Catholic Church 8 years ago. I have NEVER in these past 8 years, heard such an anointed sermon.
I spent my University art school years in a Catholic charismatic prayer group. Never thought I had any of the gifts. I was as a fish in the deep water. Looking back He was all encompassing. He changed everything to an unfathomable degree. May the Holy Spirit come to rest on our hurting nation in this dark time and heal us.

Praise the Lord, I was healed of my left hand wrist injury by the Holy Spirit some 20 years ago when I knelt before the Blessed Sacrament during a Life in the Spirit Retreat. God is real and HE reaffirmed me of this Truth and since then I had never doubted HIM in good times and bad times alike. Hallelujah !!!!

Fr Mark, this is the most powerful sermon I've every felt. I know how it feels to have the Holy Spirit in you. When I pray the Rosary, I pray it so intensely, I feel The Holy Spirit in me burning with Faith in me as white hot as the Sun. I pray all Catholics can connect to the Holy Spirit. He is our Advocate and God. He can do wonders if you have anxiety problems like I do, and need a boost of something.

Dear Father Mark. Thank you so much for your Pentecost homily. I am writing from an island off the coast of Thailand that I never knew existed ten years ago yet God has miraculously put me here for a mission that is yet to be revealed to me. For the past 18 months I have endured a horrific spiritual and temporal struggle but God has done this to purify and change me, though it has been very painful. I feel that He is using Pentecost to help heal me. Your homily has opened me more to the charisms of the Holy Spirit and healed a 45 year distrust of such charisms, though this was still an important part of my spiritual journey back to Catholicism. My distrust came from an unfortunate experience whilst I was part of a Charismatic community and I have held a confusion or bias about the Charismatic movement for all this time. You have helped show me that my problem has not been with the Holy Spirit but about hurt from how human beings used these gifts in this community which I think are warned about in the Gospels. Thank you that through your help my thoughts have been reformed. God Bless Tad.

This year, after having the best Lent of my life and beginning to pray the rosary everyday, a tremendous love for our Lord filled my heart, and these five signs articulate what I have experienced. St. Louis de Montfort puts it best in True Devotion to Mary: "When the Holy Ghost, her Spouse, has found Mary in a soul, He flies there. Fr. Mark, I have never heard such a Spirit-filled homily in my life - thank you. This will help me as I have incurable cancer - unless of course I have some Spirit-filled people to pray with me and I believe, if it is God's Holy Will that I would be cured.

Fr Mark, this is the most powerful sermon I've every felt. I know how it feels to have the Holy Spirit in you. When I pray the Rosary, I pray it so intensely, I feel The Holy Spirit in me burning with Faith in me as white hot as the Sun. I pray all Catholics can connect to the Holy Spirit. He is our Advocate and God. He can do wonders if you have anxiety problems like I do, and need a boost of something.

Dear Father Mark. Thank you so much for your Pentecost homily. I am writing from an island off the coast of Thailand that I never knew existed ten years ago yet God has miraculously put me here for a mission that is yet to be revealed to me. For the past 18 months I have endured a horrific spiritual and temporal struggle but God has done this to purify and change me, though it has been very painful. I feel that He is using Pentecost to help heal me. Your homily has opened me more to the charisms of the Holy Spirit and healed a 45 year distrust of such charisms, though this was still an important part of my spiritual journey back to Catholicism. My distrust came from an unfortunate experience whilst I was part of a Charismatic community and I have held a confusion or bias about the Charismatic movement for all this time. You have helped show me that my problem has not been with the Holy Spirit but about hurt from how human beings used these gifts in this community which I think are warned about in the Gospels. Thank you that through your help my thoughts have been reformed. God Bless Tad.

This year, after having the best Lent of my life and beginning to pray the rosary everyday, a tremendous love for our Lord filled my heart, and these five signs articulate what I have experienced. St. Louis de Montfort puts it best in True Devotion to Mary: "When the Holy Ghost, her Spouse, has found Mary in a soul, He flies there. He enters there in His fullness; He communicates Himself to that soul abundantly, and to the full extent to which she makes room for her Spouse."
Preach it Fr. Mark, preach it! Alleluia! Our God has promised us a New Worldwide Pentecost in Joel 3! "It shall come to pass, I will pour out My Spirit upon ALL flesh (hearts). Your sons and daughters will prophesy! Your old men will dream dreams, and your young men will see visions!" (Joel 3) God is pouring out His Spirit, His Love, into all receptive hearts. "Hope does not disappoint for the love of God has been poured out into our hearts by the Holy Spirit Who has been given to us!" (Rom 5:5) "We will put out fire with fire! Satan's hatred hurls its flames so high that he believes his victory is secure. But, my Flame of Love , Who is Jesus Himself, will blind satan. I have given this Flame into your hands. Soon, it will arrive at it's destination and will quench the fire of hell."
