In later seasons he always gave up. Was a whining little boy. Causing trouble but whining about the consequences and largely blaming his baby brother, who he brought in forcibly to the hunting career.
@faizisaif7955 almost every time it was a choice of give up and maybe save some people or fighting back and most likely losing everything he cares about if you wanna do the right thing there is no other choice my dude. If you actually care and know there still may be a chance to win and save people in the end or losing everything you dont even think about not giving up the choice is clear.
Yep dean was true warrior. He never believed he would die an old man. He always knew he would die hunting and he was okay with that. Plus he killed Hitler. 😅
@ncpirate5477 that's what I always thought. Honestly I think it's Canon, Obviously the Winchesters were the heroes of his story, and he ended the stories with them winning against the big bad like always. Death commented he would one day reap god. Why would he say this? Then death it's self help them subvert death, why? By saying he would even reap god, tell you that he can die. Chuck orcatrested the entire show, sure there was free wheel but when some of those choices ended with someone dieing, they alway come back. Leading to the ending that Chuck wants and thats the heros of story to win.
I think so to I think they hint to that when he reads the reviews of the book and they call him lazy for putting himself into the story , he just wants to be in the story
See... this is the one thing that is bad when introducing stuff. Sam knows like... world ending level magic. He can technically give ghosts bodies and bind Death, themself (whoever the next reaper after Billie takes the position). They have a library of knowledge... cures... and if it gets that bad, eventually people will just catch on. Like some idiot kid doing vamp TikTok. Or figure out factions of Vampires, Werewolves and other monsters are their own mafioso underground. Plus... the Men of Letters had successfully sealed the entire country. There are still the trials... that's 2/3 problem areas. Maybe that's why the final episode felt like a weird turn just to end the show? But that was the Dean equivalent of getting taken out by a rusty nail.
Everyone is always a Dean fan. Ive always liked Sam far more. His character in MY opinion had more development at times. But its been a decent amount of time since ive binged Supernatural.
@anthonybarben5853 I get that. But Dean is also the first to be rude, which is probably why I like Sam more. Im older and always found politeness to mean alot where as being anything else just causes trouble and a headache. Unless it's a fight, than definitely be Dean.
The are both great and im a fan of both. They both went through shit most people would never come back from some they wouldn't even let themselves come back from dean tanks the emotional crap thrown his way till he can't anymore and Sam uses the emotional trauma to move forward but when they are in the shit they always have each other's backs even when the chips are down one way or another they look out for each other and that's what brothers do. But this clip was pure evil of chuck to do to Sam. To see and hear dean say we lost he knew if deans resolve was gone Sam would give up but Sam saw through it just his time with lucifer making him hallucinate he questioned it.
Am I the only one who thinks this show should have gone down this route, we got 2 opportunity through out the series for a good ending (Season 5 and 11), it's time to mix it up and give a bad one.
If you get the box set of the show, there's a deleted/alternate scene where they do trap chuck in the casino episode and shows the mark appearing on cass' arm. So they were thinking of showing it but obvs went down the other route
Pretty sure chuck screwed up there it was clearlly a lie they mentiomed bobby having a death wish indicating he was still alive yet he died awhile back and they knew this so it was obviously him lieing trying to get at sam
It's a pretty cold day in hell when you see Dean fucking Winchester give up like that.
Happened multiple times though. From him choosing Michael to the future apocalypse version to this. X x
In later seasons he always gave up. Was a whining little boy. Causing trouble but whining about the consequences and largely blaming his baby brother, who he brought in forcibly to the hunting career.
@nelphrim7261 This one's not believable though. In a world with a sympathetic Queen of Hell and a sympathetic archangel, monsters win? Huh???

Making chuck the writer of the show is crazy. Giving them the ending they wanted was mercy.
My head canon is Chuck played everyone by faking his depowered state and let the boys win because it was a new story.

Knowing Dean and hearing him say we lost is pretty heart breaking
Anyone else seen the deleted/alternate scene where they show chuck getting trapped in the casino and the mark appearing on Cass' arm?
Chuck isn't lying just giving Sam a glimpse of the future
But he's also stacking the deck. Those things happen in the future because he makes them happen in the future. It's his twisted way of breaking Sam.
They are actually just ideas chuck has for endings and I believe some of them are from from different universes
He's not necessarily lying. He's showing possible futures or futures from other universes.
Woah Cass had the mark
Alternate potential future that never happened

Deans naturally charismatic. Most people gravitate towards the person with charisma

Sam was wrong about basically everything he ever did.
You're right. I'm a total Deanie-weanie 😅😅😊

That was a wild episode. Damn it Chuck

Yoooo Cass with the mark ?? I woukdve wanted to see that or anything else mentioned

It's crazy dean kills himself right after
It was a trick
Pretty sure chuck screwed up there it was clearlly a lie they mentiomed bobby having a death wish indicating he was still alive yet he died awhile back and they knew this so it was obviously him lieing trying to get at sam
Meh
Was happy to hear Claire stopped breathing. Her and Kia were the worst characters ever
Ikr😂 no one ever agrees with me
