Hi, how do i know if my tortoise is happy and growing appropriately?
Hi Dear. Your tortoises are very cute and healthy. I am expecting to buy a tortoise. Is it necessary to dip a land tortoise in wster ?? Thank u
How old do the sulcata have to be to hibernate.??!
I have had my sulcata for a year now and he hasnt grown, just wondering if you have any tips? i give him the calcium he needs, the correct lights, a huge enclosure and the right nutrition.- and he was a month old when I got him- hes about 2.5 inches long ( been that size since I got him D:)
Hey, if you contact me it’ll be easier for me to help you. Send me a dm on instagram @shadowsreptiles
@Boris and Hank I soak sulcata feed pellets so they are soft to eat with mainly hay- and occasionally carrots/collard greens- He has no pyramiding- he has a regular light and a UVB but spends most time outside- we are in texas so he gets the right amount of heat but never too much he always has an option for shade- for humidity i have a spray bottle i spray like 2 times a day around the cage - hes very active and doesnt seem unhealthy just isnt growing :/
Also eats a fair amount isnt ever “not hungry “
@@ShadowsReptiles just sent a dm
