"Make what you want to see" is such good advice for basically any content medium. It's a lot easier to stay motivated that way, and there's bound to be others who want to see it as well

I agree, as a viewer. I think that you don't realize it when you watch content, but there is a very distinct difference between content that was made specifically for views and content that was made with passion and enthusiasm.

You’re deadass the reason I started playing geometry dash back in 2016, and I’m about to start college now. Which is bringing me to the crushing realization that I’ve spent more of my life having played geometry dash than having not played geometry dash. So in summary, screw you Colon. I've been watching your channel for the past 3 years and you've grown to become my favorite GD content creator with the commentary/discussion videos that often deal with unique topics that people rarely talk about. As someone who actually got into GD from your videos, its always an achievement to be able to not only attract those in a community, but also those outside. I was initially introduced through your game design (and ironically April Fools) videos and its from those that I even started playing GD, so I really thank you for even showing me GD as a whole!

I love that your videos are so unique - you don’t just play the game like most other GD RUclipsrs. I often rewatch your videos and they’re just as funny/informative. And despite you not uploading very often, each video is so different that I don’t really even notice, whereas other channels that upload very similar content daily get boring quickly.

I've rewatched like every single one of your modern GD Colon videos like 50 times now, I can almost remember all the dialogs and gags off the top of my head. Your videos have the perfect amount of everything - the quality of every video, the seriousness and bits of humor and gags, the pacing...they could be an hour long or bite-sized, and I would genuinely click on them again most of the time if they appeared on my recommended feed. I started watching you when you were around 70k subs, and stuck around because these videos have always been bangers

I believe you DO know what you're doing. You may not when you look at yourself from the outside, but you've proved yourself over the years. You're one of the only people I know who does RUclips because they genuinely like doing it, not just for money. And you're absolutely right, if you uploaded way more often, you'd lose motivation to do it quickly. Giving yourself time to make high quality videos is definitely something I appreciate, whether we have to wait a while or not. You've learned the algorithm, how to make content, and how to maintain motivation. Overall you're constantly improving. People like you are what we need to give it life, to keep it alive. And when you actually enjoy it, making it seem less of a task, it proves you don't need to know what you're doing at all.
Just keep it fun, my guy! You've had potential ever since you first started this channel, and I'm convinced you'll keep going for twenty more years for all I know.

I'll be honest, if it weren't for me discovering your channel back in 2022 (I think it was around the time that the SubZero secret coins got updated), I probably would have never given Geometry Dash a second chance after I sorta abandoned it not long after 2.0 came out. I've been able to appreciate GD, it's community, and everything it has offered until now loads more than when I was simply playing the game for fun on my phone back in 2014. And for that, I thank you for everything you've done and brought to this community :)
(Also I had no idea you're an official developer for Rhythm Doctor! I should really give that game a try someday...)
