What a special place Chalmers is, and it's people I worked on the ships that used to tie up in the town and had many a great night ashore, with great local people...I always promised myself I'd go back for a visit one day, but have yet to do so, still, it's a place I can't forget....miss ya.....
One of my favorite place in NZ. I've been there few times during 2005-2006, as a seaman on container ship MOL Wellington. And all my memories are very pleasant. I climbed to Lookout point and relaxing. I remeber the local chickens there, running around me...) I consider to come here again as tourist.

2016 , container vessel Spirit of Auckland - all remains same including chickens,time is stopped here
I currently live in port charmers and I don't want to move it just amazing here.
