As a body shop worker I wouldnt recommend buying fiberglass parts EVER. every single primed part we get is still a pile of horse shit with pinholes and cracks. And we have customers who bring us fiberglass bumpers only to bring it back in 3 months because someone breathed on it funny and it cracked again.
Also mounting points are non existent and for me fitment is EVERYTHING. if the fitment is shit, the part is garbage. Stick to OEM. glue a lip onto your oem bumper if you want to do something different

That black shit is FRP, it's junk. I went through the same thing but worse! First was a VS racing bumper from Driven By Style, the second I figured I'd go direct to VS racing and they dropped shipped one from a residential address, the exact same FRP bumper, not the fibreglass one that they advertised. VS racing was good at first about trying to figure out a solution but I've been ghosted the last year. I made some bumper vids that are private just to show the issues to them, maybe I'll make them public. The absolute kick in the nuts is I'm in Canada and shipping, with all the border shut downs the past 4 years I'm $1500 CDN into these 2 unusable bumpers. WTF

@@jarekmai I wish I could get an original part. This one I was trying to buy is is a replica TRD2000gt. I took the original fibreglass bumper, 80% smashed and 20% missing and restored it. My old EG had a real fibreglass Mugen front lip I kept refinishing and getting painted. Forced to do this when nothing new available. Keep up the great content, we'll be watching.
Yeah the “check upon delivery” + “delivery drop off and gone” combo is their strategy of selling flaw parts. Though, if you purchase a pre-painted part it hints doing some body work. Bondo + sanding + paint

Shoulda paid with a credit card charge back for damaged product. Absolute BS saying you have to inspect it while the delivery person is there most don't have time to sit there for that.

If the box arrived undamaged but it comes down to the seller that didn't package it correctly.
I had a small issue on ebay when I ordered some taillights for my suv. When they arrived they were moving around in the box no bubble packing at all. One taillight was cracked chipped pieces off.
I even sent a message to the seller asap about the damage either asking for a partial refund or send me replacement for the damaged one.
And they did send me replacement taillights and packaged it better this time.
eBay is the way to go to be honest

Sucks bro sounds like it's time to get your bank involved, you already documented all the damage, send this to your bank and ask for a chargeback they'll side with you and refund you.

You can heat the bumper and it will flex. The resin heats up and becomes pliable.

“Speaking for an EX BANKER FRIEND”…. Always order using your credit card. If package did not arrive as expected or fraud is suspected. (Reach out to the company and if they don’t want to help) call your credit card company and explain the company sold you a product that arrived damage or not functioning as it should and you were basically taken advantage during this transaction and they are not holding their end. This way the credit card will back you up and you’re not loosing personal cash if things go south.

It's rare that I buy parts off of random parts sites but sometimes the deals are legit and it's hard to tell if it's real or not, and what bs may follow in case things go wrong. However if I do, I'm always charging it onto my credit card or PayPal with chargeback protection. At least in that way, I can report a transaction and have the company chase the store for me, or get my money back and never shop there again.
this is why I stick to oem+/Honda approved companies only. Had to buy some floor mats for my mums stepwgn import and she asked why I didn’t just go for aftermarket that was cheaper, a week later someone with the exact same car in our area had an accident because the pedal didn’t go down properly due to aftermarket floor mats. I’ll stick to mugen, tegiwa, spoon and hondata.

even high-end parts that are delivered by freight have the same policy, that's the norm for large aero parts, this is why I always say, try to support local shops, at least you can deal with someone face to face and typically they should have the experience ordering parts for the customer, they will do the leg work for you. As for quality and fitment for the actual product, when purchasing rep parts, you pay for what you get. Most Original designers spend countless hours and money to R&D their products for fitment and quality control, knock-offs sometimes copy the Original designer's products off a picture they saw, and their molds are always off. Don't support copies, buy the original !!!!
I understand and I truly believe this statement. When it comes to modifying some people don’t have the money to show case big brand parts. My civic is the perfect example and shows you can get away with it. Just takes a lot of trial and tribulations.
But if you have option to return it one month after delivery, then return it, and that's it

Dispute the issue with your bank about it . Same issue happen to me with some fiber glass panel fenders . They solve the issue and refund me the money
Yeah man I had a fiberglass bumper for my accord and had to patch it with fiberglass and resin but it never came out well. Moral of the story stay clear of fiberglass

If you used credit card you can do your refund through your broker. My girlfriend bought some skin products from an Asian store. They came exploded and leaking but the company wasn’t helping. She made a claim with the credit card company and got a refund.

this is why you never go the cheap route. do it right once and not again. Lol what did you expect from cheap? cheap will always end up making it harder for the prep/painters.
Don’t take the L. Just file a claim with your credit card company. They will handle the rest. Usually it’s called disputing the charge on your card. Get full refund and probably get to keep the bumper too. 😂

I got scammed by them too but I got my money back. Never recommend that website. Fitment was so bad I couldn’t even mount it
So I recently came to find out that a guy I know is (was) the maker of the spider body kits all fiber glass he worked with fiber glass for about 15 yrs from the late 90's up to 2010. So I want to buy a body kit for 5 hundred and first words that came out his mouth were "They are NOT PLUG N PLAY" chances they will fit perfect is like a measly 4 at most out of 100. I did fiber glass fenders and they were perfect but didn't fit perfect I had to use a heat gun to manipulate the fiberglass making it just barely flexible. Not only that but there's also shaving, sanding, bondo etc that has to be done to make it "LOOK PERFECT". So for anyone saying this is bullshit remember this is a old honda EVERYTHING BODY KIT WISE WAS MADE OF FIBERGLASS and if you think about it no major brand or small brand is going to make them with OEM plastic and if they would you think they are going to be this cheap? HELL NO so you see how it all kinda makes sense?
