Additionally, he was so disappointed in his play from Game 7 last year. At the press conference, he apologized to the team, the fans, the city and promised he would get better. He could have taken his $304M and coasted, but no, he vastly improved and he is BALLIN right now. I ❤ JB
He was considered a reach at 3, heard some boos on draft night, said “I’m gonna go to war for this city” in his post draft interview, has dramatically improved every year, and seems to be even better for the city off the court. Love JB man. Should’ve been all NBA, but glad he got rewarded with ECFMVP. Hopefully him and JT get their numbers in the rafters and enshrined in Springfield.
The size, strength, explosiveness, and shot making is really impressive. Dallas hasn't faced a scorer that can bully their way to the basket like Brown can.
@@timothynguyen4446JB is taller than ant and ant didn’t really bully anyone in the mavs series, most of his points were from pull-up jumpers or using his quick first step to beat his man off the dribble
@@ronathan7212It’s close it’s just JB has the spacing to have more openings in the lane and attack more 1 on 1. Not to mention Boston has another wing in Tatum who can do the bully ball stuff as well.
Credit to Brad Stevens for understanding the value of JB. Not only does he bring game to the court, he's emerged as a clear leader of the team this year.
I think one of the reason Brown cut his turnover rate is he cuts some of his useless dribbling while driving through help defense, his driving&scoring feels simpler and more direct than last year
Boston play faster than Dallas, so it's going to be difficult to stop Brown. They haven't seen a player like JB, who consistently hunt transition buckets and push the ball after makes with power, quickness and efficiency. Most of the teams in the West are big or slow.
@@TheDON914 Ant settles for more pull ups and outside jumpers. While brown is tunnel visioned on finishing at the rim at first thought. Brown plays bully ball and Ant not so much he usually beats defenders with his first step to the basket (most times off a hesi) browns finishing at the rim is far superior to Ant.
It’s not the best but his left hand his significantly improved. He can drive to both sides of the bucket and it lets him open up his bag that much more. I’m also a huge fan of him using his strength and agility to attack this year more so than years past.
This is what the so called mainstream basketball analysts missed or should I say ignored when they gave their opinions(scripted) about the Celtics. Brown winning the ECF MVP is the proof of this but they instead used this to create a rift between him and JT. Celtics are now ready. #18
I’ve been saying this since Dallas and Boston were predicated to play each other. It’s not Tatum they have to worry about it’s going to be JB. Dude is playing phenomenal ball this season.
He can't exactly bully-ball like JB but his finesse game along with his added strength is huge. If he could drop a bit of the step back contested 3's and man-handle more at the rim he'll be a dominant force. That being said, Jay grew up a skinny finesse player, let's let him mature into his body and what that gives his game. Dude is 26. Everybody says it, but... c'mon... JT next season is gonna be a PROBLEM.
@@spl1xI also think JB dribble pull up into the mid range is better and his very tough shot making ability is much better than Tatum. Tatum needs to get clear seperation specifically from the 3.
@@spl1xThe problem is JT isn’t trying to use his body😂. Like u said he grew up playing a certain way. I honestly think he doesn’t drive that much because the ball slips out of his hand a lot on drives. Idk if any Celtics fans have noticed this, but JT doesn’t have the best hands when going to the rim. He tends to miss a lot of layups for a guy his size also. He rather take a floater in many cases.
@@jmlclarke99 Yep, he doesn't drive as much as we would like. But, fam, I want JT driving and kicking in this amazing offense. You morons don't see the big picture. New team, new deal. New morons.

Great video as usual But will say, technically the moves at 6:03 are travels. Lifts his pivot foot before the jump, would technically have to jump with two feet on the ground to keep his original pivot foot in check and make it legal. But in those cases, his plant foot becomes the pivot when his original pivot is lifted before the jump. On the other hand, the move at 6:20 is legal because the jump is basically off his two planted feet, keeping his original pivot in tact Tho, this is the NBA. Making sense of their traveling rules makes absolutely no sense
There's a lot of stuff that technically is a violation of NBA rules that are ignored as long as they are marginal, especially in the playoffs. It be what it be.
@@chiboz3483 Not too sure about that. Have always believed the lifting of a pivot foot is a travel Imagine someone in triple threat takes a bunch of pivots, the lifts pivot foot and keeps it in the air for like 5 seconds. That's a travel.

Thank you for representing JB. One of the most underrated players in the league.
The size, strength, explosiveness, and shot making is really impressive. Dallas hasn't faced a scorer that can bully their way to the basket like Brown can.
They did in Anthony Edwards. That being said, JB’s job is much much easier when you have 4-out 40% shooters and another do-it-all wing in Tatum

Jaylen Brown is proof that narratives mean more than facts, no one spoke about the fact that he was injured during last year's ECF
No one spoke about Tatum’s wrist in the finals, or his ankle in game 7 last year. It is what it is, but narratives suck
