Cesc at 17 was greater midfielder than Pedri, Bellingham, Yamal, Gavi etc they never had this level of maturity & game reading capabilities like teen Fabregas. Joining FC Barcelona made him shadow of what he was & his hype was forgotten (despite actually still performing good at Barcelona & Chelsea)

Except Arsenal was actually a successful side when Fabregas came in. Barcelona hasnt won anything in 3 years. Fabregas came in at 16 to a side that had just won the premier league unbeaten. He played in what many recognise as the most physical league. Stood his own against all these guys while still showing remarkable quality. On top of that..he didn't get injured. From his first full season he played 50/40 and no less than 30 games a season for the rest of his 8 year Arsenal career. In Pedri's second Barcelona season he already missed more than half of the games, he played 12 games last season. Anyone can see the boys talented, but it's too soon for the hype. He still hasn't actually achieved anything and has ONE FULL SEASON of top flight football yet everyone is convinced he's the second coming of Jesus Christ our lord and saviour.
