I love the acting by the lady in the stands, What's Going On Out There? Classic bad acting! But still love the show. Watched it when I was in school. Danny Melon was the best character on the show. Later on Teddy & Vince were good characters added to the show later on.
@tnawcwvictoria Good comparison, I agree with you on that! They were kinda the 3 Stooges of the teen shows back in the days. I miss show like Hang Time & USA High now-a-days!
Players hits buzzer-beater… Coach and team manager just casually high-five each other. That is the most unrealistic reaction ever. Didn’t anyone say “Wait, no one would actually act like that in that situation”? Also, it took more than 8 seconds for Julie to get off that last shot from the point it said 8 seconds remained in the game.
Ryan Heart I played on the boys team for my high school. We did not have enough students or interest for a girls team so I played boys. coach fought it at first then I proved myself and the guys where all fine with it since most of us had played together since we where little kids. Over the years several different teams had girls play it’s not that uncommon with small schools.
Actually did freshman and sophomore year. I eventually changed schools my junior year because the school I was attending close due to not enough students
It was a big fantasy on TV at the time to have girls compete with guys. The recent transgender activism with that transgender swimmer at the University of Pennsylvania has completely blown the premise for this show out the window. Amongst men that guy was an average swimmer, but competing with women he’s breaking all kinds of records. A 15-year-old boys soccer team beat the World Cup women’s soccer champions for crying out loud. There is no way Julie could compete on a boys varsity team.
Can’t believe the coach would actually leave the team during a timeout..three times!

Why they keep showing the same end credits after each episode?
Julie can’t play defense lol

She has a fantastic offense. Julie has skills.

I HEAVENLY GOT THE HEAVENLY HOTS FOR MARY-BETH AND I LOVE HER PRISSINESS. SHE IS SI HEAC]VENLY GORGEOUS.
I never understood why a girl was on the boys team in the first place that part of the show was just ridiculous.
