Welcome to Snowrunner. I've been playing for years but I still remember how cool it was when I first started. Here's a few tips for you: When you first start a map, make it a priority to visit all watchtowers and accept all tasks you come across. You don't have to do tasks when you accept them, but accepting them will let you see what materials you need to do them when you're ready. I usually like to do stuff that opens roads first since it makes later missions easier. Make it a high priority to get all upgrades that the watchtowers expose. Make it a priority to rescue any trucks you find. You get to keep many of them and if you don't NEED it you can sell it. In the normal game mode you sell trucks and trailers for full value so if you sell something and later want it again, you can buy another one for the same price as you sold it for. A trailer store is as good as a gas station. You can buy a fuel trailer, fill your gas tank, then sell it back to the trailer store for what you bought it for. Don't try and finish each region before going on to the next one. The next region might have much better trucks and you can always come back later and finish old tasks and contracts. Get better tires as soon as you can since the stock tires on most trucks suck. That can be a consideration on what truck to buy next since some come stock with tires that don't unlock till higher levels. You can preview trucks in the truck store to see what tires it comes with, what frame add-ons it can take, and if it can support AWD and diff lock. Have fun in your offroad adventure.
