....well too bad you picked the cheapest hotel in town and you got stuck in 1980 .... but I understand being on a budget is a "THING" . Next time you go somewhere - do a bit of a research ! The first written reference to Žilina was in 1208. The city has a very rich history and quite a lot interesting places to see. Unfortunately you "stayed" in an obsolete hotel Slovakia (cheap) ..walked through the Marianske square and then got lost somewhere in back alleys...Please do not make beautiful places look BAD?! ... cuz you have ZERO knowledge of the history and you don't know any better. For me THUMBS DOWN ....

You chose the worst hotel in the town. There is a lot of nice places in Zilina and ypu were going aroumd the garages. Life in a "small" 100k town is quiet and safe. Especially at Sunday morning. For the future I recommend Hotel Dubna Skala. Trip to Zilina's water dam. Budatin Caste, hike to Dubeň lookout tower, Zilina's catacomb and so on.

I don't blame you - that guy had no idea where he was ..but he managed to stay in the cheapest hotel in town he found online ....
