In my opinion this is the best Canon in D version. I listen to it every now and again (always this video) and it brings back memories of my own wedding :)
I am impressed by how prepared you are as a performer with respect to the progression of registration decisions. It is a rare event when we get to hear this entire piece; almost NEVER at a wedding - and yet so many brides want it in their wedding, but the organist is almost always obliged to cut it short for the "bride's" entrance piece. Go figure!!
This is the amazing Brenda Caldwell playing the 1928 Skinner organ. This is one segment in an upcoming series The King of Instruments from Victoria Lane Studios. Enjoy.
Does anyone know where to find this episode of King of Instruments? It is the one filmed in Leominster, Mass I believe , discussing the Casavant organ there. Thanks!!
That is a nice rendition of this oft heard piece. Moller ruined a good skinner organ all in the name of Baroque. Now the organ is indeed Baroke. But this young lady gets through it very nicely. There some of the old skinner left.
Thank you so much for sharing this. I grew up in Christ Church and listening to it reminded me of where my love of music came from! Just beautiful!

The most beautiful version of this song ever. It brought me to tears; Brenda is one hell of an amazing organist.
Oh, my! Effortless tempo and fingering......Simply SUPERB! Well done that woman!!
Beautiful and stirring. I love this piece!
If you ever wonder what kind of music is in heaven, THIS my friends, is it. Wonderful!

Wow, I wish I could play like this! Amazing!
That was beautiful. And a wonderful job of capturing the performance. So many great organ performances are lost due to poor recording.
Unexpected change in octave, very well done.
Simply majestic
Agree with you.
Very nice job you girl, I like your version
