🔥please note in the first recipe (red Thai curry), I mention adding tomato paste and I meant red curry paste. All the recipes are in the description. Sorry for that little mistake sometimes when I’m doing voiceovers I rush to keep up with the video and say the wrong thing. My bad.
Tia, your Red Beans and Rice IS MY VERY FAVE!!!!! Omg.....it's on permanent rotation at my house. And I used to make RB&R with the andouille and ham. This is far better!
Newly vegan, couple questions. 1/ how to get past the tummy issues eating so many beans. 2/ how do kids become so veggie adverse? My grands are the same and I thought maybe it’s because their parents don’t or won’t get them to try things. Our kids ate all the things so 🤷🏻♀️. Kinda frustrating as I see the grands only wanting pizza, chicken nuggets and fries, ugh.
OMG!! new subbie here. I'm loving it so far. just binge watching all your videos. Can't believe I just found you. Your video just showed up in my feed and I've literally been watching them now back to back. love your content.
I actually had chili over broccoli for lunch today. 😂. But my chili was not homemade. It was definitely just an organic canned vegan chili I think from Amy’s or something like that. I definitely need to make some homemade chili though.
I’m really trying to figure out why my stomach hurts so bad if I eat even just a little broccoli now (so painful) but as a child it was my favorite vegetable and I ate it literally almost every day
I have the same issue. I used to eat broccoli several times a week in my twenties. Loved it. Then one day, when I was 27, it caused a stomach ache so bad that I had to force myself to throw up to get rid of the pain. That reaction lasted for decades. I am now in my mid-fifties. Two years ago, I tried it again. For the first 2-3 meals with broccoli, I felt OK. The fourth time I ate it, I got a stomach ache again. Years ago, I read a scientific paper (2010) which found that eating mature broccoli aggravates gastritis, whereas eating broccoli sprouts (the micro greens that look like alfalfa) helps to heal it. I was not aware of having gastritis when my broccoli problem began but I did develop it 15 years later, so maybe I did have an underlying stomach problem that was exacerbated by broccoli, even in my twenties. I don't know. I am fine with all the other cruciferous vegetables. A friend of mine has had occasional issues with broccoli, too. We live in Europe, where GMO foods are banned, so for us, at least, that is not the issue, but I think there is something in broccoli itself that causes this reaction. Most of the veggies I bought at that time were organically grown, too. I have the same stomach issue with organic quinoa, no matter how I try to prepare it to get rid of the saponins, which I think are the cause in the case of quinoa. I can tolerate broccoli sprouts, though, which give all the health benefits of mature broccoli and more, so perhaps you would be OK with those, too?
Cooking-wise, when a dish calls for broccoli I just use cauliflower instead, or one of the other cruciferous veggies like bok choy or kale, depending on which texture would work best in a given dish.
@@Equinox1.5 Thank you for sharing! I’m the same in that I can eat all other cruciferous veggies without a problem at all. I only a problem eating broccoli- the pain after eating it is so intense. I’ll definitely give broccoli sprouts a try.
I’m not exactly sure, but I know Whole Foods does not carry it and they won’t carry anything that has bad ingredients, chemicals, etc. it may be just the cans themselves because the ingredients seem pretty basic. I always error on the safe side.
Hi, yes, I noticed that when I watched it back. I pinned a comment mentioning that mistake and I meant red curry paste. All the recipes are in the description and they are correct.

When I make chili I add one can of pineapple pieces and the juice in and it’s soooo good. 😋
Sounds great!
That sounds really good. I actually like to add just a touch of cinnamon to my chilli.
Carrots also add a sweetness if you dont want to use maple syrup.
Thank you Tia! Your meals are delicious.
Glad you like them!

Eat beans with fresh salad of raw greens.🥬 Raw greens help prevent stomach gas from beans.
Congratulations and Welcome to Love❤❤❤

Keep working on your gut biome. Could be messed up from gmo food.
@@cathytilford388 Thank you! I appreciate the advice because I wish I could eat it again!

I’m not a big fan of onions. What can I use in place of that for the Thai pad curry? Thank you
The stem part of bok chow. It will absorb liquids and add crunch. Sattee it and set it aside and add it in at the end of cooking.
Sounds like a great idea
@@GarudaLegends ok. Thank you. I’ll try that.

Looks great but, I have a question, what's unhealthy about Rotel?

Tomato paste or red curry paste? It looks like tomato paste, and that is what is in the audio around 1:30...?

Totally fine that you choose meat. Do what works for you 😀
All those canned ingredients 🤦♀️
