The beginning of "Heart of Chambers" sounds remarkably similar to the beginning of Eric Clapton's "Bell Bottom Blues." Both great songs, both great artists.
What is so special about Beach House is that, in an era of complete shit popular music, they were brave enough to do something purely non-commercial and concentrate on the artistic integrity of the music. What's amazing to me is that there are still some people who appreciate that.
The beginning of "Woo" sounds similar to the beginning of Roxette's "It Must Have Been Love" from the movie "Pretty Woman." I prefer Beach House's "Woo."
nice! I don't dig Other People or especially Woo on the albums that much, but this early version of OP and the more understated version of Woo really makes me see much more what they wanted to achieve with those tracks! I'd personally add this version of Girl of the Year with a pretty stunning finale (2:37 is perfect) ruclips.net/video/zgHO6l9F3Aw/видео.html and Dark Spring ROCKS live! ruclips.net/video/pj_wowOey6A/видео.html

L'Inconnue is quite reminiscent of the Cocteau Twins. In this instance, I like both again.
