    Having lived through a brain tumor and surgery I would like to encourage you. Others may not notice but I have lived it. The aphasia will get much better with time. It's a huge struggle and made me so angry but I continued to do public speaking engagements and gave myself cues to stay on topic. You will get to the other side so keep plugging along and know that I am your personal cheerleader!

      @Carlene thank you for your comment and personal experience. I’ve told Jeni about my tumor experience but never even thought about the aphasia I had for years before my diagnosis. Just realized it’s gone! It’s been 5 years since my surgery but it’s gone!

    In Canada those are called Yorkshire puddings. And imo, the only thing that belongs in those is gravy from a roast. 😍
    PS they look delicious 😋

    • @Jeni_Gough
      @Jeni_Gough  2 года назад

      Yorkshire puddings are beef fat, popovers are made with butter. There is a difference. 😊

    Greetings from East Texas! Hey Jeni 👋👋👋. These look wonderful. I’ve never seen a “popover pan”. Guess I’ve spent 65 years under a rock.
    QUESTION: can you make these in a cupcake pan?
    LOVE your Quality Assurance Team 💕. And the last minute or so with the Little and her Pigtails peeking through the step-stool. 🥰 She looks like my Daughter did at that age.
    Thanks for another great recipe! You are looking great! Blessings to y’all.

    Many years ago there was a fabulous restaurant in Boston, The Proud Popover, they served everything in a popover, omg it was so good. Everyone always left it up to me to decipher recipes, and I was pretty sure and checking sources in later years, hot oven, cold greased pan. A business that big and popular was not about to be handling hot popover pans in the amount they were making. They brought you a basket of hot popovers to start, with honey and butter, now I must make popovers this week it has been a while. Funny thing the measurements when I look it up are exactly as I wrote, never use a mixer, just a whisk.
