Hey big chef, I hope you see this comment!
I have a question about the Genesis bats. I am thinking of buying the Sanchez model at 26oz. I looked at other models like marshburn, and they have the same stats.
Is it the same bats? Same goes for the 13" Genny. Identical stats.
Do you think these are repaints, and its actually the same bat?
What is your opinion on the matter?
Id love to hear from you.

Wish LS would drop more short barrels. Im sick of seeing 13" 1/2oz EL bats over and over...good to see this bat held up pretty well though. It is about time that they get this seam issue fixed. I probably only put 100 cuts or so on my hartling before noticing 2 small seams show up. The sound on all the newer LS bats has gotten a hell of a lot better. My hartling & pass em out both changed in sound in about 40-50 swings.

I do like a having the option of long or short. The last few drops seem to be the same specs with different paints. Still a great product but some people have different preferences

For over 200 swings and just to only have a fingernail size seam hitting only 44s is a good sign they have fixed the durability issue.... one team I play on... all our LS's all have seem cracks.... my OG pass em out didn't last longer than 300 swings before it seamed and sharktoothed on me this past month.... thing was absolutely gas

They’re good. But personally I think it’s time for the seal issue to be corrected. It doesn’t affect the performance. But I’d rather hit the bat with the same balls that are approved. I’ll hit Asa bats w Asa balls and utrip bats w approved utrip balls

@Bigchefsoftball Exactly.... I'm glad yall beat this one up. And it won't stop me from buying one... my Ironman 2.0 is holding up very nice... around 500 swings... no seams just nice webbing along the barrel

I need a short barrel one piece balanced bat from LS next.

Sounds like a defect. Was it cold or balls too hard. I’d contact the manufacturer

Paint chipping is sad. Even if you break them in it's still sad they havent fixed this. Hot bats but umpires know to look for the seams.

I agree. I hope the future models can eliminate this issue
