My son who also is an Alan loves your channel. He always looked forward to the Heidelberger auction. But was diagnosed with leukodystrophy a few years ago and is confined to a wheelchair. So your auction videos are very special. I'm hoping to get him over there next year for their summer auction when it's a little dryer for his chair. We farm just across the river in Wisconsin. We sold our dairy herd and just run a few beef now and understand what small dairy farmers are going through first hand. Thanks for posting and doing what you do. God bless.
The prices were surprisingly reasonable compared to other auctions I have observed in the South & midwest this spring and summer. Always great to see your happy family. Your older son fell in love with everything! Again your videographer should be up for an Academy Award🏆
I picked up my equipment at a auction in St. Cloud minn.,,, rake , haybine, bailer, they gave me an old hay wagon,, just needed some new boards and grease
Those 88 series and magnums hold their value a lot better up north. All you see down here in the Texas panhandle is green paint. My grandfather farmed his dairy with two AC wd45’s until he sold out at 77. I Always appreciated going to auctions and seeing folks. Thanks for sharing.
Looks like some pretty good deals. Next time I'm going to have to get my brother to look this over. Might be cold and damp but if there's coffee for sale it's all worth it.
Man time marches on. I haven't thought of Dale Heidelberger in years. I bought a 1900 Oliver from him in about 1994 which was before he moved to his Hwy 70 location. The Oliver got liquidated a few years later for some logging equipment. It's good to see he's still dealing in tractors.
Oh yes for sure. There's a Pizza Hut not more than 10 minutes away, so Jen usually runs and gets pizza to bring back to the auction and eat, so it's a special day for them.
Your giving your children a wonderful growing up experience in a rapidly vanishing slice of America, wish it could be the way it was......progress I guess lol. I get a charge out of the auctioneer 21 and a half boys!
My preference would have been that 1070. Won’t find that around here for that price. The best thing I think I saw though was your son with the packer sweatshirt. Go pack go
Thank you letting me tag along. I was like to see how other auctions go. Miss Jenn.. you was eyeing that John Dreere A.. was you? Lol. Looking like maybe you was betting on it there.. was a sweet looking tractor.
I was skeptical after I thought I had it at 4,900.00. Getting the hydraulics and shift linkage looked at. I am very happy as the tin all looked in great shape. Needed to replace the primer (leaked), otherwise great buy.
Oliver 1550---------any of you "old timers" recall about 50 years ago when Great Bend loaders were running ads in farm publications offering great prices on a " package deal" on a new Great Bend loader mounted on a Oliver 1550 tractor? Evidently Great Bend got a good deal from Oliver to put that "package" together. I recall the price sounded quite reasonable but I had too many other expenses to take that deal. I recalled that when I saw Alan on that Oliver.
The two cylinder market has been softening up in our area over the last three or four years. H and M Farmalls are the same way. If they don't have live power nobody wants them. The WD 45 Allis Chalmers tractors are still bringing decent money though. They work well as baler tractors with the hand clutch that they have.
Good day from Ontario Canada Boy interesting sale . Yes some went reasonable, & others went a little higher. That 2010 JD with allis motor, I am not sure about that. If rated rpm on motor was put in pto might run at right speed. Thanks good video.
very interesting, there is nothing like that here in switzerland. Here are most of the old tractor brands: Hürlimann and Bührer I don't know if you know these Swiss tractor brands. greetings from Switzerland
I liked that case 930 near the end. I remember the days when I thought my dad should just buy the equipment he wanted because all he had to do was write a cheque. Do they run the auction online also?
If you know how to judge the condition, there is cheap horsepower to be had at auctions. If you're at the right auction without tons of competition you can bring home a good deal.
You can't find a John deere A around here for that price unless it beat to death.. I guess I will need to start looking out west for better tractors at good prices
Yeah, it was a steal. They didn't run it, but they said the float had stuck, so the owner went through everything before the sale, so I think it probably ran well.
Good day to go to an auction! You need that JD A! 730 diesel, most efficient tractor made for fuel! Kids are having fun!! Did you get that bagger going? 60's the tractor, we farmed with on for years! I run a 1550 oliver, gas, it can eat up a lot of fuel! The "A: went to cheap- could easily get 3,500 for it, it was in good shape! Some of them old tractors went way to cheap! I could have started farming again!
Yes, there were a few steals there for sure. A friend of mine, an equipment mechanic, is going to take it and get it all tuned up for me in exchange for using it for some of his corn.
There were plenty of dependable tractors there. No computer parts or DEF systems which is why these "outdated" tractors are bringing record high prices every year.
Man that tw15 with duals was a sweet heart of a tractor
some of those tractors go back to my young lad years in the 1940's, now real nice looking old iron thanks for the video.

Gotta love those Ford TW’s
Some stuff went decent and some stuff went high but some good collection stuff too

Front end on that M was worth the buy alone
That Krone Easy Cut and Kubota round baler would look good makin' for you, Allen!👍
They were out of my budget, but they really did sell cheap for what they are.
at 2:45............nice Ford Jubilee
Allen looks good on an Oliver!!! He needs one!
Jen would like one too.
@@trinitydairy better get on the Oliver train then!
Love the GreenBay Packer shirt on your son!! Thanks for the videos! From north central wis.
Another very interesting video

That Vintage Case Tractor With Mower Was The Bomb Painted That Was Sweet
7140 looked tidy. Learnt to drive on a 5140. Strong tractors ! Brilliant video 💪🏻 🏴
That Case 939 wheatland would have fit nice with your fleet. There were a lot of nice tractors at that sale

For the boys the sale was more fun than a trip to Disneyworld. Great to see their young exuberance.

Always enjoy seeing what the old iron goes for 👍
Thanks Jen for including so many sale prices in the video. JD 2010's were rated @45HP, Allis WD 45's were the same.
Oh okay, so very comparable. The previous owner made a few of those with 2010s and 3010s.
Looks like a fun sale!
Thanks alot did a good job all of are aution are starting around okla
Great channel never disappoint!!
Thanks for posting this! I'm bummed I missed it!
Great video
Very interesting auction thanks for bringing us along
John Minn, Al that was a GREAT video thanks for taking me along
Love yer boys sweatshirt
Love these auctions🥰
Your giving your children a wonderful growing up experience in a rapidly vanishing slice of America, wish it could be the way it was......progress I guess lol. I get a charge out of the auctioneer 21 and a half boys!
Good video, like you said, good auction weather.
That 930 Case 8 speed was the "steal" of the auction.
As always another nice video with the kids in it
That twa Ford and that two 30 are really good tractor. Last along time take of service put up when your done you well get your money back
Thanks. Doc
i can remember a farm my father worked on in Vermont had a WD-45 Allis, david brown, back in the 70`s
The equipment is selling very cheap I love it.
Thanks for posting and God Bless!.
I'd love to have an Oliver like that. It's a great size power unit but it's a family name as well.
Dear Lord who knew they'd have so many Olivers. I guess we shouldn't comment till the end!
Great video. Wish I was there to buy the Oliver 18000
I'd like to have that little F-12 with the cultivators...
Thanks for sharing
thank you
Love these auction videos!!!
Alot of nice iron!!
A lot of junk iron.
@@joesteck6631 what do you mean by alot of junk iron?
Alright. Maybe not a lot, but some junk.
Every auction has some junk.
Something for everyone. Nice
if i had the money that 1486 would of been a good buy if it was good shape
My preference would have been that 1070. Won’t find that around here for that price. The best thing I think I saw though was your son with the packer sweatshirt. Go pack go
Yeah Jen's the Packer fan in the house. We're a house divided! SKOL!
Boys and tractors.
There was some nice tractors there to bid on. That MF 689? Sold for $9500 was really nice and clean. My number one pick.
Yes, it had been really taken care of.
at 7:07........nice looking Ford
I gotta go get a JD 2010 utility gas with 46A loader in a couple weeks, sits in a shed on an abandoned dairy farm. Hopefully it will start!!!
Nice video alan
Iook good and God bless yall
whoever bought the Kubota round baler got a steal
Yes they did!
Nice video
Glad to hear Jon found you guys. Did you manage to meet Ike also? Great guys!
No I didn't see him. Visited with Jon for a long time though.

Actually I liked the 60 a bit better.
@@trinitydairy we had the 60 and a 50 plus two super M and worked on other farms that had A B . One had alis Chalmers WDs.
@@trinitydairy - A, 60, 620, 630, basically the same tractor, just added more horsepower!
Fair price on 1070. Like my 870 sipps fuel

The old iron in my area has really dropped in price this year. The pre def tractors are insanely priced.
Yes totally agree

For sure!
That 1086 was a steal! Which one did Alan want?
If money was no object, it would be a tie between the 5488 and the TW-25 Ford.
@@trinitydairy Both nice!
JD 2010------------------I had one and it was a lemon !
I am not saying 2010's were all lemons but mine sure was .

2010 I think was a 2 bottom tractor.
👍
The 2010 has a 201 allis engine they did not make a 225 it was a 226 but it would not have a tappet cover on the right if it was a 226.
The "county" or "muir hill".....to my mind are the best tractors ever 👍.....certainly don't make them anymore ☹
Do you know how much the 7140 sold for ? I have been looking for one for the right price
Edit
I finished watching the video a found out.

did that man have a big farm or just alot of tractors?
It was a consignment sale
What is the krone implement there
A Discbine
Idk think all that iron sold cheap
Boy have prices dropped
what was wrong with that John Deere 5410
It was off a chicken farm that had it in a chicken barn with constant condensation. They just said it had issues.
7140 went cheep
some good deals others not so much seems like John Deere was bringing big coin
I'm surprised they swapped an Allis engine into a John Deere
I guess the previous owner was a big Allis guy and swapped motors into a lot of 2010s and 3010s.
@@trinitydairy I guess it made the 2010 not suck lol
Ask any John Deere guy. They will tell you that the 2010 John Deere tractors were, and still are junk.
