However God has His perfect timing for our prayers that are His perfect will( according to His Word). Gods perfect timing is different than our timing . God is eternal , infinite. Our human minds have limitations( our minds understand the finite). That is why some prayers that are scripturally correct prayers are not all answered immediately and others take different length of time. Your counsel is sound because it is about having faith in God and not giving up when the prayer is not immediately answered.
