I cry because Candy Ferocity represents many transexual women and men, this Candy's performance is a tribute to every trans killed in the world. Transphobia has truncated lives and dreams of so many people.
They took such a heartbreaking scene and turned it into a jolly and fabulous scene where everyone celebrates candy for the legend she is. It’s almost like a musical.
Indeed the 80s were an awful decade for the LGBT+ community we lost so many wonderful people due to HIV/AIDS and we had to deal with vehement and endemic homophobia, biphobia and transphobia.
@@NorthernFella my wild days were the 80s. Great music, fun times, but dampened by HIV. I lost at least.6 buddies, somehow i came through. But this show skillfully recreates it. What an actress!!! See how she varies her body language with each person she touches, reflecting her relationship with them. This is the kind of deeply personal send off we all deserve and so few of us get.
This is such one of the most heartbreaking moments of Posé. Why? Because Candy was not respected and admired by people around her as much as when she was alive. It was so sad that it took losing her life before earning the respect and admiration of her peers. RIP, Candy Ferocity! 😩🏳️🌈
It has been a long while since i’ve seen such a magical closing to a show. Angelica did THAT and should be proud of her performance. 10’s across the board!
I am beyond confident and proud to call myself a Trans woman 🥰😍😘❗This episode touched me in so many ways like omg... It's like the character dominate traits of each individual defines me as one person.... I sometimes get knocked down go through struggles and etc everyday. It'll never stop my WILL to be loved respected and honored as I should be.... Sending love to all Transwomen across the world 😘❗It's our time let's claim it 😉😘❗
I love you all. I am a gay man and If we have put up with so much. I can imagine trans people. My lobe for all. For all of us who made the decision to come here and not conform with what they called the norm.
I cried watching this video, and you let me keep crying with your words. Just one thing to say: YOU WORTH IT. All my respect. #TransPower The time is now.
That's TV history. A moment that will be remembered. The lyrics are so relevant She thanks the crowd because thanks to them she never experienced love like this before. She sings to their hearts.
Imagine being rejected all your life and once you go to heaven God welcomes you with all the acceptance you have always wanted in hear during your existence? You don’t have to imagine, this video shows you !
I could just imagine my final moments like this, a moment full of love and over whelming respect and acceptance. Truly my heart is with you miss candy, i hope everyone will experience this kind of experience whether it be our first or last moments. My loves to you ms. Venus extravaganza
I'm not a trans woman, but ever since I was a child, I've always admired their strength and courage. I would always tell my mother that I wish I had their spirit, because they are so unafraid to embrace who they are on the inside and outside, even though the world seems to be against them, and they definitely helped me overcome my self-esteem issues. Even in Thailand where trans women are a part of our culture, they still have struggle with shit that is just plain unfair. My mother, conservative as she may be, taught me that a trans woman is just a woman, she may not have been lucky to be born into a female body, but that doesn't make her any less woman, and man, woman, trans or whatever, we are all human, and what is actually important is that we learn to live our lives as best we can, and help other to do the same if we are able. Watching pose with my boyfriend, I find myself repeatedly telling him that THESE WOMEN ARE SO STRONG.
In Indigenous American history, every queer person was held to be a higher status for the tribes. We were celebrated... then colonization happened. And the Christians taught against it. On our Reservations the people are still fighting for their place as equals.
Everytime I watch this video I cry so so much I'm so happy to see Candy having her own moment and 10s across the board with everyone cheering for her. I'm sad that Candy passed away so tragically. This fictional show reflects our reality so well.
