Slimzee’s a godfather of grime.
For a lot of us outside of London, pirate radio stations weren’t accessible all we had was Sidewinder tapepacks. Slimzee had a big influence of who got to play at sidewinder raves. He’s as much as a pilla of grime as any top MC

Slimzee was probably the main reason i started listening to early grime back in 02, the mcs were an acquired flavour that complemented once the palette adjusted. big shout to the wiley, dizzee and slim set from the early days
