This was a great bible lesson. I had to pause the map & do a little bit of individual study and draw my own map as you suggested. However, your breaking it down (in simplicity) combined with my own individual study helped a lot. There was so many gems & riches in this bible study that I can not go into detail. I am simply very grateful that you took your time to explain it to others.
Maps help very much to see who went where and makes it understandable. Too bad we don't know where some of the cities in the Bible are located today. I read the Bible like one might read a novel, only I go slow, and when I finish, I start all over again, and again, and each time I always learn new information I had not realized in previous readings. I also include the Septuagint after Old Testament and before New Testament. So much joy each time I read because there is always fresh information I find. Many times I seek more clarification and I just input the book I am reading, Chapter and put into youtube and read random explanations that are posted; that is how I found you. I do enjoy your knowledge and explanation, thank you very much.

The Philistines lived in the land of Canaan or the land of the Caananites.
Israel was a people not a piece of land
Palestine was a people Philistines were a people not a piece of land.
