People’s financial situations can change after they have taken on a dog that needs regular grooming. We don’t know what has happened in their lives! Please don’t judge the owners when you don’t know the situation. And to the groomer… thank you for helping both the owners and the dogs in these situations!! You’re truly a blessing to both!
I had a long haired dog and kept her groomed. Then I fell into hard times and tried to do it with myself. She was a husky and her hair was so thick. I was lucky that the neighbor had a sheep groomer and also would trim his dogs. My wonderful neighbor saw I was trying to do it myself and they came and asked me to come over with her. They took care of the clip and I bathed her in my tub. He did it every summer for me until I was able to start having her groomed. I am so thankful for him and you. Sometimes there is a event in life that you just have to decide ; do I feed my kids or groom the dog. You are wonderful for taking care of these dogs. You can tell this dog is taken care of and has been groomed before. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I can see how caring you are with the animals. I've never done dog grooming but I can say it's got to be tough on the body parts. Including the heart. High 5 for all the ways you've improved the lives of the speechless ❤❤❤
I like my doodle with longer hair, and the vet has no issues with it. Just daily care of the cost. Everyone doesn't want the same look on their dogs. It reminds me of the Stepford wives. I dont want a cookie cut doodle.
I am.2 to.3.weeks out on my poodle and border.collie mix, and she is definitely shorter than him, but I also like my doodle trim and not long. Although I would like her tail and ears to be longer. Loved the transformation. Looks like he did, too.

They need to make one of those groomer’s hammocks for the larger dogs! I love watching your channel and appreciate all of your content so much. I am just a dog owner but love watching your work and very much appreciate how generous you are to your community ❤
One thing I would love to see one your channel is owner reactions to their transformed dogs. I’m not sure if they would allow you to film or if RUclips has rules about that, but some of the videos I have seen of yours it’s like “frog to Prince Charming” and I’d love seeing the owners reaction!

With as much as this dog is moving, why don't you use belly band in groomer's helper it would make him move around a lot less and make your job a lot easier I would think

I do feel you are a bit rough in the bath with the dogs though, especially around their faces. There is no need to spray their faces head on with the shower handle... in this one I was happy too see that you were quite gentle though.

I hope you get a chance to read some of your old videos because I'm in the reverse. I am so glad that there are some people out there in this world that do help other people I'm a senior and I live in a fixed income. I don't get raises and when I do. They're very little and sometimes I have to give up a little of myself because I love my cat and my dog very much. I find memes and ways to make sure they get groomed just once a month to make sure that they are well taken Care of so people Out There they are negative about the Free grim thing that's wrong. I am telling you. It is very hard for me. I give up the things that I need sometimes eat my food. So my babies can look good. But there's a lot of us that can't even do that. By the time that they do take care of their business, they don't happen enough. So don't be negative about the these people that she said. You don't know, it's a truth. I'm one of those but like I do the reverse. I make sure even when I do it. I take care of my dog and my cat very much. So cause I love them. Yes, my cat gets groomed once a month too. Because your claws need to be taken care of their hygienist need to be taken Carroll too. And I'm so grateful that I have 2 carrying groomers. That do Rap for me Toya. Mary Beth, have you thought about getting a volunteer apprentice to help out? It would give you more time to edit your videos and more time to do the grooming work. As well,as,answering your phone etc?
Here in Las Vegas we call you the Clipper Queen. This Doodle had a beautiful coat, dirty but not very long. You could have use a whiting shampoo, thinned his coat, combed him and he would have been beautiful. If the owner is not pissed, someone should shave him/her and see how they like it.

You are a hypocrite Mary Beth….I've heard you MANY times judge pet owners for the condition of their pet and saying there is no excuse!You could have left his head and ears fluffy on this goldendoodle too!
Hypocrite?? This lovely lady has done an excellent free groom and so patient with the large difficult dog and also saved the owner a trip to the vet re the dogs ears? .. and yet you insult her.

Matting is a big thing. A huge thing that hurts the dog if left alone. And if it is so close to the skin a groomer cannot de-mat it out, it will bruise the skin. Many flavor-of-the-month designer breed owners don't want to take a slicker brush to the dog for just 15 mins a day while chilling and watching TV. Can't be bothered.
So if you don't want to out in a tad of effort, your dog will get shaved. I did a doodle puppy today and her owners are so involved, got products for brushing and also messed with her feet and used a mechanical toothbrush (backwards) to get her used to clippers and the vibration/noise and scissors. She is still spooked a tad, but is so good! And her owners can keep the coat longer that way. And they are now in a regular schedule. I will likely do a full haircut every other visit and just a trim once she is used to the process.
Also due to lack of a regulated breeding standard, you can get a Goldendoodle who sheds with straight hair, or one that is 3/4 Poodle with completely different hair.
