Getting started in "O" gauge with the Williams electric trains E60 & MTH Realtrax

  • Following my visit at the Expo-Train hobby show in Laval, Quebec, I came home with this massive GE E60 made by Williams Electric Trains and a bunch of tracks. Let's assemble an O gauge layout together and make it run!

      I think that it is very interresting. Very different operation then I normally do. 3 rails also bring new opportunities!

      You could have a loop of London underground railway line that have 4 rail systems the middle is for positive and outer for negative

      Yes on the London underground and southern railways has the outer 3rd rail that supplies AC current

      Interesting, an outer rail that supplies it. I reviewed a loco that was using both catenary and that technology to supply electricity here : ruclips.net/video/1Bg5ZCs_rZ4/видео.htmlfeature=shared
