    Hi! I’m a C&P aholic so I thought I would try to explain those layouts. Those layouts you bought are for project management, specifically the “gnatt” method. Which only incorporates 4 full weeks of the month to track project management. So if you count, there are 4 sets of “M-S”. Hope that makes sense. Now for ways to get around that, for instance let’s take next month (Feb) it starts on a Thursday. So, you would skip the first 3 days (M,T,W) & put a 1 in the 4th box for Thursday then if you continue along the line you will realize that you will stop at Sunday the 25th, so I would recommend then going back to the front of the line (where you skipped the first 3 days) and enter in the rest of the days in the month. So essentially, your line for feb would go “26,27,28,29,1,2,3,4, etc.” I hope that makes some sort of sense! I know it’s confusing and also unfortunately it doesn’t remedy the fact that you’re still going to be a few days short each month but I would put the extra days down below in the notes section. 😊

    An idea for the monthly tracker is to take 2 lines for each item. An example is if the month starts on a Thursday, you would leave the first three blank then write 1-25 respectively. For the last 6 days you would place them starting that next lines Monday (since the line starts on a Monday and ends on a Sunday) then start the next month with it. First line: 1-25. Second line: 26-31 & the rest blank. I don't know if you'd be able to fit everything this way, though. Another idea is to use one monthly for one thing and do the above then add the rest of the year. First line: 1-25, second: 26-31 + 1-22 of the following month and so on. For moods you would write the key in the bottom notes for each color and then write in the color. I know you said you wanted to connect them with lines, but these are just ideas!

    Hi Aya! Love your content! This will be my first year using the vertical hourly layout and found that Washi tape is best for making long lines and time blocking. I got the 3mm from Amazon. It came in 20different colors for $6. Hope that helps!

    I am loving your planning videos! The monthly looks so pretty and aesthetic! Not sure if you plan on doing it but could you do a flip through at the end of the month just to show what it looks like all filled out?

    Catching up on your videos. Love all the great ideas. II was using my phone and my Gmail calendar. I think paper would be better to define our schedules (mine and my son) with different color dots. Thank you for sharing Aya.

    Hi! quick question, isn't it hard to have kind of the same info in different places? Like, if you have to add an event in February, you have your year at a glance, quarter page and monthly calendar to add the same event, what is your process to keep it in sync?

    • @ayaplans
      @ayaplans  11 месяцев назад +4

      I like that it’s in multiple places so I don’t forget. The year at a glance is strictly just to see the dates all together and marked. Then the year overview tells me SPECIFICALLY what event, birthday, or appointment it is. The year overview helps me know what to write down in my monthly view. When things come up, I’m not going to decorate and plan my monthly view if it is too far in advance. It’s January now, if I make an appointment for March, I won’t put that in my monthly view yet because it is still two months away and I don’t write things in my monthly view until the end of the previous month. That’s why I like to put it in my year overview because that is just a more specific list of dates where the year at a glance doesn’t tell me anything other than the fact that something is happening on a specific day. Hope that makes sense.
