I picked up this knife about 2 months ago. I have the jade G10 scales but changed out all the t-6 screws for t-8 not sure if I'm going to dye it just yet but the action on mine is very smooth and such a sexy blade. Love this knife. Thanks for the review!!!

Awesome looking little knife. Trailing point is the word you're looking for! Definitely going to make this my next folding knife. I've experimented with a lot of things, always trading knives lol. I don't collect em, I just switch for closer to perfection.

Awesome review. I have the Arroyo with purple haze acrylic scales. The acrylic handle gets very slippery when moisture/sweat gets on it. The pivot action on my sample is too weak, and doesn't open and close very good. It is easy to fail when flipping open. Should have gotten micarta or G-10.
The great: Does come razor sharp, blade steel is holding up wonderfully, comfortable in my large hands, and love the look of the knife overall.

There are also some acrylic handle options. The Deep Sea one is a nice swirl of blues and looks very nice in person.

I like the handle. Never a big fan or upswept blades. For slicing sure but they are usually awkward when you need the tip.

So I just ordered the acrylic version of this knife. It’s beautiful looking but edges of handle are a bit sharp. Also I’m only locking up at 15-20%. Is there anyway to fix that other than file it down?

I'm sure that steel is awesome but the blades a bit too swept for me personally. I like the look of the scales alot though. Recently had great results getting Micarta back to new using steam! Happy accident lol
