Something about this song is so ethereal and transcends beyond this world. To me it's reminiscent of death and the afterlife. The nostalgia is there, despite this being my first time ever hearing the song, and yet, it's so compelling to listen to. With each listen, I ponder the journey I'll take when death arrives. Do we all experience grief as we find a way to let go of Earth? Does the journey only begin with death? Or does it have a satisfactory end to it? This song sparks all that emotion my conflicted feelings when I listen to it. That's why I felt the need to write out such a lengthy comment. This song hits deep for me. Had my first break up and it feels like the girl she was, I can't find another. Wow... I can relate slightly. Back then I was in elementary/middle school and those were the most fun years. 2014-2016 were the best years of school. Now I'm in high school. 2017-2020 have sucked pretty much. 2019 stands out as the best year from this time period because I met some cool friends that year that I still talk to every day, and some other good things happened that year too. I dont like high school itself, despite that the school I go to is praised as one of the best in the state. None of those friends I mentioned earlier go to my high school.
